Leona Lewis: 'I don't like alcohol'

Leona Lewis has revealed that she does not drink alcohol because she hates the taste.

 

Last year's X Factor winner, who is currently topping the charts with single 'Bleeding Love', has admitted that she could change her mind and start enjoying the party lifestyle.

 

She said: "At the moment I don't drink alcohol - it tastes like hairspray. Maybe I'll get a taste for it and go off the rails."

 

Lewis also revealed that she is planning to take up pole dancing to help her exercise, saying: "I do belly dancing - it's great for your abs.

 

"My mum used to teach ballet and always told me to work out doing something I enjoyed. I would try pole dancing."

Oh how predictable :( She's such a good girl it's unreal :( (Good for her though obvs, but this story would be more news-worthy if she said she DID drink alcohol :lol: )

Well ALOT of singers dont drink, purley because if they don't, their voice will stay strong and healthy. :D

Well no one needs alcohol, I think it's nice she doesn't feel like she needs to create controversy by acting up and she's quite right some alcohol tastes vile. Vodka is just like paint stripper!

It's because the media WANT her to take it. :lol:

Vodka is LOVELY. Best alcoholic drink ever much :wub: But agreed, some people can't take it :P

 

And from a Journalistic POV, this is a c**p story and Leona will get nowhere without some form of media interest!

Ooh no, neat vodka is a bit EUGH. I only have the odd shot of it like that. Most of the time I mix it of course. I'm not suicidal :lol:

Good on her, alcohol isn't the be-all and end-all. We have enough music stars falling out of clubs as it is -_-

 

EDIT - Maybe i should have read the whole article first? :lol: Hopefully she doesnt "go off the rails" as she says, because she COULD become a pop legend in the UK even around the world.
