I must admit ... I thought they'd do it differently this time and sing live. They've had so much time out of the limelight - so much time to practice .... you'd think they'd take the opportunity to prove their detractors wrong! Maybe they just ain't up to it. I think they could actually have done it - if they'd just used Mel C and Emma's voices - the other three are just there to look good really I suppose.

mel c is a brilliant live singer so she has no need to mime i havnt reaklly heard the others sing live solo that much

I quite like Emma's voice too though. I don't think she gets enough credit. Mel B, Geri and Vicky B are just plain pants though. But as a fivesome ... they do look good together.

Emma shines on the ballads, like 2 Become 1 and Let Love Be The Way. Mel B does sing ok, but only when she has to do the low vocals like in Viva Forever and Holler.

I'm so glad someone agrees with me on Emma! She really has a sweet, unaffected voice.

I'd rather buy Stop than Headlines ... I don't care if its for charity or not ... I won't be tempted into buying it.

I missed them perform STOP but I liked it when they did Headlines - even if it wasnt live lol

I actually think Stop was one of their best singles and is probably one of the more deserving of number 1, despite it being the only one (well, until Headlines) not to make #1.

From reading stuff in the newspapers today, it seems as though their audience wouldn't mind even if they mimed during the tour itself. A lot of people have said it will have been worth buying the tickets just to see the five of them together on a stage again. Even the American audience they had didn't seem to mind the miming (and I always thought that lip-synching under any circumstances to an American audience is a no-no).

 

Oh well! If they can get big bucks for doing it ... good luck to them.

Some of it was live I think... Mel B's parts certainly sounded live, as did the opening part from Emma. The only part I thought was mimed was Mel C's solo.

Headlines didn't exactly receive a huge download boost after CIN oh dear :(

I loved seeing the girls performing again together, even though they mimed just seeing them together was great. I've seen them twice singing live on tour so I know they can pull it off - therefore it's annoying they mimed (cuz they can do it live) but it doesn't bother me so much cuz I know they will sing live on the new tour and will sound great.
