Easily his best performance, but it lacked spark or flair. 5

 

Niki - Hot Stuff

Much better than last week's disaster, but I feel she seems like she has lost belief in herself. She went a bit wrong with the unneccessary key change near the end as well. But as Donna Summer songs go, she could have choose much better. Cabaret performance. And her comments back to Simon were neither witty nor factually correct. 5

 

Rhydian - Go West

The riddler is less than brilliant shocker. That was just too-ooo camp. Plus I'm sure all English football supporters really appreciate a Welshman singing a song associated with the Russian Football team. 7

 

Hope - Gimme Gimme Gimme

Easily their best performance by a mile (not that that is saying much.) Perhaps the first time they did not sound like 5 cats wailing at midnight. Although they still looked like 5 females standing outside of a brothel. Although I wonder how many of those backing & harmony vocals were from a pre-recorded tape? 6

That was pretty good and they looked great, but it seems Phoebe always gets the main vocals, Simon has not really tested the other girls

 

I thought they were awful and the one singing lead was the worst offender. What's with those judges .... do they think if they say Hope are good enough times, the public will think they're good too? That was the worst performance of the night so far. And I bet they're voted last two .... but they won't go! Even if the other in the last two was Rhydian (which I can't see being) this is Simon's show and Simon's act will get through - now matter how dreadful they are.

I totally agree, Hope have got a free pass to whenever the judges can't affect the public voting.

Beverly is vocally so much better then Nikki.

I thought Leon was fab - good song and he looked so cute!

My mum and sister agree, but I think it's cuz I'm not a fan of Disco music anyway so it all sounds rubbish to me.

Beverley has got soul, she is the soul sister, that song was made for her, that was easily the best performance tonight, Rhydian better watch out, Beverley is an outsider.

That didn't work at all :( I just felt like she wasn't put her full effort into it, just a bit $h!t really :(

Alisha's worst performance to date, she could be in the bottom 2 tonight, bit flat, she was out of tune.

I thought Bev was good. She made the right choice of song too - obviously not as good as Chaka Khan but who is? My joint fave tonight along with the always excellent Rhydian.

 

Alisha was awful.

 

But Sharon said exactly what the nation knows - 'Simon you hire, you fire'. Hope have a safe ticket to the finals night because the other judges are in his pocket. I'd love to be wrong but I don't think I am.

She's bottom 2 easily tonight.

YHRF is one of the easiest songs to sing and she couldn't even do that in tune :arrr: :( which is a shame as she seems a really nice girl
