England *just* top seeds then!

I don't really mind who we get in the qualifying stages - there's no easy games. I just hope we dodge some of the very far away Eastern European teams.

Hmm so if Romania win their last game and England lose theirs there's a possibility England fall down to pot two. :o
England would never last with the likes of Italy in a group. A must win game for two reasons.

I hope we get Norway or Greece from pot two...

I don't know if we would go down, tbh..

Turkey look like qualifying ahead of Norway but are in the pot below. I wouldn't say it's definite that we'd go behing Romania.

Around abouts zero I should think, as Northern Ireland and the Republic are both in the same pot! :heehee:

Here are the FIFA World Rankings atm btw... seems unlikely actually that there'll be any movement regarding England.

Oh yeah. How I managed to miss a whole word there I do not know.

Well, from pot A we'd take England (ha!), Croatia (oh, they're easy ;)) or France (just so we can complete four back to back victories)

from pot C Finland, N.Ireland (the bubble will burst) or Hungary (never seen Scotland play them before)

from pot D anyone but Belgium (my how they've fallen!) or Georgia

from pot E Lichtenstein

and from pot F Kazakhstan for make good the game of football.

I'd love us to get the Scots!

No way, think of the humiliation when we'd lose.

I don't really care who England get. England getting Scotland would be great though. I'd like to see us get San Marino though.

iironically Romania whipped the pants off Albania tonight.

Doubt it will effect seedings though

Not sure where the irony is there...

Bah, who needs the world cup, lets jsut hand in a letter of resignation from the tournament now...

When do qualification games start?

Perfect draw for Macedonia will be:

Spain

Greece :D

Hungary

Macedonia

Armenia

Montenegro

Will be interesting to play against greeks :D

 ^

if I have to choose our group it will look like this:

Italy

Ukraine

Finland

Macedonia

Slovenia (will be interesting if Katanec remains to be our coach :lol )

Montenegro

but we'll see on Sunday!

Maybe we gonna get England again :P

England are in the second pot of seedings now!

I'm kinda glad in a way, it'll put the players under even more pressure so hopefully they'll deliver the goods on the pitch as chances are they'll now be seen as the underdogs in some of the games.
