anyway I read somewhere (DenDen being the somewhere lord knows what thread) that shops had ordered in 100k

OK let me rephrase that....the die-hardest of die-hard fans will pre-order singles :P

 

But not in nearly the same numbers as albums, which are pre-ordered by casual listeners as well. It wouldn't give accurate statistics.

but I preorder singles I like now online because it costs me the price of a single to travel down to the town on the old bus, therefore saving more money for more CD's :magic:

Although when you think about it, the major competition for the Spice Girls is Leona, and nobody will be pre-ordering that as it's already out. So even if the Spice Girls had about 20 pre-orders they'd be beating her!
