Posted May 16, 200620 yr We really did not like the remix All I Want For Christmas Is You and so it's gone. It's going to get harder from now on - are people going to keep the schmaltz or favour Mariah's slicker hip-hop hits? This is the list: I'll Be There (with Trey Lorenz) Endless Love (with Luther Vandross) Fantasy (remix with ODB) Whenever You Call (with Brian McKnight) When You Believe (with Whitney Houston) Do You Know Where You're Going To? I Still Believe [ballad version] I Still Believe (Pure Imagination) [Hip-hop version] Never Too Far/Hero I Know What You Want (Busta Rhymes feat. Mariah Carey and Flipmode Squad) Miss You (with Jadakiss) U Make Me Wanna (Jadakiss feat. Mariah Carey) This round will end in a day or so I'm going to keep the pattern of voting out botched versions of Mariah songs: I vote Never Too Far/Hero Edited September 21, 200719 yr by Flatcap
May 18, 200620 yr I'm going to be a bit fussy. Fantasy remix isn't that rare, it's played more than Fantasy! :P Out of the rare songs, you're missing Slipping away, my personal fave There for me, and the rarest of them all Weakness Of The Body. I'll go for U Make Me Wanna. Edited September 21, 200719 yr by Flatcap
May 18, 200620 yr I just hate the Fantasy Remix, ODB's voice just grates on me. -_- Edited September 21, 200719 yr by Flatcap
May 18, 200620 yr Don't speak ill of the dead! :o Yo New York In The House! I hadn't even really heard that song til the #1's album. God knows where I was in 1995. I can only remember the original song! Edited September 21, 200719 yr by Flatcap

I can only remember the original song! I know I feel sorry for him, Mariah was upset about it, he was a legend of course but I didn't particularly like his music. :P I'm the same until I heard #1's I hadn't heard it and I think the chorus is the best part and the remix kinda cuts the chorus out and replaces it with worse parts of the song. :( Edited September 21, 200719 yr by Flatcap
May 18, 200620 yr Yeah. I definitely prefer the original. I only like the remix when she does it live. I hadn't heard any of her pre-Music Box stuff until I bought #1's. And I'd never even heard I Don't Wanna Cry until I bought the #1's video! Madness! Edited September 21, 200719 yr by Flatcap
May 18, 200620 yr I only became a fan when The Emancipation Of Mimi came out (fake fan I know -_- ) and I made a thread on CC asking which tracks were worth having a listen to, and then within a month I had bought all of the albums, and loved every single one (possibly with the exception of Charmbracelet) and I Don't Wanna Cry was the first track that was recommended to me and I never looked back. ^_^ Edited September 21, 200719 yr by Flatcap
May 18, 200620 yr Fake fan, fake fan! I first became a Mariah fan in 1994 when my mum bought my sister the Music Box album. I demanded she buy me a copy, and loved the music. I became a bigger fan with each album that came out. I first saw her live on the Rainbow tour in 2000. My obsession with her reached a new height after Charmbracelet came out. I met her for the first time in January 2003. After that, everyone knew whenever she was in London, they could find me wherever she was! I kind of think I've reached my peak now. I think it's because she's more popular than ever. I tend to like artists when they're not that popular (like Lucie Silvas or Darren Hayes). I still love her music, and will always support her. I just might not go to every UK date on the tour this time! Oh - and I Don't Wanna Cry is one of my top 5. That and Love Takes Time. The first album is my break up album. When I broke up with my ex, those songs really helped me through! Edited September 20, 200719 yr by Flatcap

When I broke up with my ex, those songs really helped me through! I would love to meet her, I can't wait until she tours I will be the first one in the queue! I like underrated stars, they tend to be a lot more prolific and adverturous with their music, rather than the established artists, and good examples too. Darren Hayes is fantastic, The Tension And The Spark was really underrated, like Pop!ular, it was a controversial track, and it's just something you wouldn't expect him to sing which I think was the beauty about it. I agree about the Mariah Carey album, songs like Prisoner and Someday are classic breakup songs in my opinion, those 2 tracks alone are the reason why the Mariah Carey album is one of my favourite Mariah albums. ^_^ Edited September 21, 200719 yr by Flatcap
May 18, 200620 yr Darren Hayes is incredible! He was the last of my idols I had to meet, and I met him a few weeks ago! Made such a prat out of myself though. I've never been starstruck with anyone before, but I was with him! Oh! If you like Darren Hayes, he did a new song on the tour called I Just Want You To Love Me - if you search for it on youtube, there's a video. It is breathtakingly gorgeous! May 18, 200620 yr Author I'm going to be a bit fussy. Fantasy remix isn't that rare, it's played more than Fantasy! :P Thanks for your vote. This survivor was originally designed for the songs that aren't on any of the first pressings of the studio albums - 'rare' is perhaps not the right word. And we only have three votes. This is no good. Yeah. I definitely prefer the original. I only like the remix when she does it live. The remix was a definite highlight when I saw her live. Just sitting on a chair has never seemed so filthy! Edited September 21, 200719 yr by Flatcap
May 20, 200620 yr The remix was a definite highlight when I saw her live. Just sitting on a chair has never seemed so filthy! Yeah like on the DVD, the Around The World one I think. Edited September 20, 200719 yr by Flatcap
May 20, 200620 yr Author Yeah like on the DVD, the Around The World one I think. I saw it on the Charmbracelet/The Remixes tour. I'm not that surprised she's done the choreography before - this was her lazy period. Good to see you're back. Can this be locked please? Edited September 21, 200719 yr by Flatcap
May 20, 200620 yr Can this be locked please? Thanks Tim I'm glad to be back. :D I will lock at your request. Topic closed. Edited September 21, 200719 yr by Flatcap
