Deffo one of the best artists imo.

 

White Ladder was the first album I ever bought :wub: I still love it :heart: Babylon is amazing. :wub:

It's weird. His albums have all been huge, but he still seems to be forgotten with the likes of James Blunt clogging the market up. David does have a slightly irritating voice, I always get an image of sheep when I hear it. But the songs themselves are usually excellent; beautiful stuff. His cover of Say Hello Wave Goodbye is still something I listen to often. Also, Slow Motion, Sail Away and Knowhere are worth mentioning.

I think he is brilliant! The albums are gettiing better & better everytime. The White Ladder record is brilliant but I gotta say Life In Slow Motion is the one I really really am crazy about! I love every freaking track on that! One of the best albums in recent years imo.

:o :o :o that's possibly the worst cover version - ever!

 

Whilst Soft Cell's Marc Almond's version positively drips with heartfelt, real emotion, Gray sounds like he's reading a shopping list.

 

Truly hideous.

 

White Ladder is a brilliant album and the only one of his that I had until recently. Bought Life In Slow Motion though and love it.
