Why though? She's so bland, and she's only got this far because Louis sold her sob story to hell. She couldn't tackle a high note if it depended on her life.

Dannii is a far better singer than Nikki!!!!

That HAS to be one of the funniest and most stupid things i have heard this week!!

I've got to say again I think the quality of the Final 12 acts in this series of X-Factor has been arguably the poorest ever since the revival of TV singing talent shows with the first PopStars series.

 

Personally I think Niki & Leon are nowhere near good enough to merit a place in the final of a British talent competition. As far as young male singers go Leon is not a patch on the likes of Will Young, Gareth Gates, Darius Danesh, Kevin Simm, David Sneddon, Sam Nixon, Chris Hide or Shayne Ward.

 

Whilst Niki is not a patch on the likes of Kym Marsh, Kelli Young, Nadine Coyle, Rowetta Satchell, Brenda Edwards, Maria Lawson or obviously Leona Lewis.

 

At least Same Difference have a USP (Unique Selling Point) with there chirpy, cheesy, lively performances which can't help but put a smile on your face even if your (music snob) brain tells you they are not that special vocally.

 

Whilst Rhydian is in a Leona Lewis sized class of his own. If anything he makes the winner of Britain's Got Talent (Paul Potts) seem like a lifeless dummy lacking in personality performer in comparison.

I have to agree that this series of the X Factor hasn't produced talent anything like as great as in past years, but at the end of the day nobody's to blame - not the producers, nobody. It's just the way it goes that there's bound to be a lull in major talents applying once in a while. It's certainly not the end of the show.

I reckon whoever wins X Factor now those to get record contracts will be Same Difference, Rhydian and Future Proof (cos they didn't really get the chance and i think they'll be marketable)

 

I think Leon and Niki would have to make it into the final two if they were to get a record contract - cos outside the competition, i don't think they are marketable. I can't see Hope getting a r/c either cos of the amount of times they were in the bottom two. The public just don't like them, so why give them a record deal?

Kym Marsh and Kelli Young?! Kym was alright but no-where near as good as Niki (no passion) and Kelli cant sing live for $h!t, her voice is so shakey and weak - she always seemed to be singing in her head voice!

She does have a really nice voice but she's certainly no Leona/Mariah/Whitney/Bonnie Tyler - she has very limiited control in her voice which is why she warbles when she hits a note and she is also tensing her neck muslces when she hits high notes which you're not surposed to do - it could damage your vocal chords

Im not comparing her to Leona or Mariah ... im comparing her to Danni Minogue.

I'm glad someone said this was Rhydian's worst week 'by far' because I hate coming in every week and saying 'didn't like it', I feel like I'm missing out on something. But I genuinely think he is really unexciting and irrelevant to the scene today. Yes he could sell albums but not long term in my eyes.

L&WR was great, particularly in the last part (but not as good as Leon did last week, which says something about how good this week was... ie, not that good). Fields of Gold was beautiful, though having watched Nadine I appreciate probably not the best performance of it ever. I ashamedly really enjoyed 2 Become 1 though it did seem very high! Crazy Little Thing I liked even though Ray Quinn did pretty much the same performance before, it was more Buble'd up and I love Michael Buble (cant wait for next week!), We Will Rock You showcased some good vocal talent particularly in (surprisingly) Raquelle. Same Difference and Rhydian have both done MILES better than their performances tonight.

 

I hope to see (though I'm not an idiot and know I won't be seeing this) Rhydian out next week, with a Same Difference vs Leon final. I would be happy to see a Same Difference vs Rhydian final though, as they are the two people have been talking about most - as long as Same Difference win!

Try watching the video I just posted. Both Minogues are actually widely thought of as having decent live voices, with Kylie's a little more nazal than Dannii's, and Dannii's a little deeper than Kylie's.

Open your ears mate, I dont think you become as big a star as Kylie if you can't sing. And Dannii, she's underated after living in her sisters shadow all her life. They both have awesome live voices too.

You just go back to Ms. Evans who'll flop within a week.
