i hope i never hear another crimbo record again... im SICK of all of them... the only ones that dont make me :puke2: are 'proper crimbo' and 'christmas time (dont let the bells end)' and thats only because they havnt been overplayed.....yet.

 

waitresses was my all time fav, but even that now doesnt interest me.

Interesting that GHP has integrated the mainstream so much these days. Don't recall if I even know that one.

 

I prefer his 'Christmas on the Block' which mixed Paul McCartney's 'Sexual Christmas Night' (ok...'Wonderful Christmas Time') with J-Lo's 'Jenny from the Block'.

 

EASILY Fairytale Of New York, can listen to that any time of the year it is so good, the cheesy ones like Slade and Wizzard have a good 2 week shelf life around the xmas party season but Pogues/Kirsty by a country mile

 

I also love Kevin Bloody Wilson's - Hey Santa Claus.... a spoof and a bit vulgar but love it

Mew is the best

My favourite AND one that never gets overly expose is Pretenders 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas'.

 

It's just beautiful!

i like christmas time (dont let the bells end), fairytale of new york is ok too, but last couple of years i've gone off xmas songs completely because they get played all the time at work. get sick of hearing them :(
