He is good. I only saw him for the first time last year when he was on the Royal Variety thingy!

missed most of it... fell asleep in my chair! lol.. it seemed exactly like the original though... moments of hilarity, moments of zzzzzzzzz , mitchel and webb were awful, very unfunny.

I saw the beginning...was it ben elton? some of his lines were quite terrible...in particular the amy winehouse references...it was birmingham not glasgow she was booed off at...and wasnt it covered in the news that police had already searched her hair for drugs when she went to visit her husband? You might think im being niggly but it just wasnt funny!

The sketch with the biscuits and grapes with the narrator was great though. :lol:

AWFUL show. Most of the performers were so dull I can't remember their names. The host whoever he was...plain irritating, no likeability whatsoever. Most of the "comedians" were just unfunny. The only time I remember actually watching with any interest was the guy who pulled a maggot from under his eye, and then threw a whole box of them at the audience, and that was only for the gross-out factor.
