Well done Mr Chugg. :cheer: ( I just love that name  )

Its brill news isn't it.

I don't like to be picky though, but the UK have 9 concerts and Germany has 13 dates, but its still fantastic that he is playing all those dates in Australia. :yahoo:

I know from first hand experience just how much they love him down under.

and I think he is adding more dates in Asia, even India!!

West Australia; you petitioned, you telephoned, you emailed, you wrote letters - in your thousands - and yes, you have been heard!

In an unprecedented first for Perth, Australian promoter Michael Chugg today confirmed the addition of another Robbie Williams concert at Subiaco Oval.

"This is a huge win for West Australians," said an ecstatic Chugg.

"The first concert sold-out in a record 30 minutes, and the phenomenal demand for another Perth show that followed almost sent our offices into melt-down!" Chugg added. "It definitely couldn't be ignored."

The newly announced November 30 Subiaco Oval concert will start the Australian leg of Robbie Williams: Close Encounters World Tour a day earlier, bringing the total number of stadium shows in his burgeoning itinerary to an incredible nine.

Tickets go to general public sale on Tuesday June 27. There will also be a pre-sale for robbiewilliams.com Inner Sanctum members.

The first four concerts in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide all sold out within 30 minutes of opening to general on-sale. Today at 09:00am his second Melbourne show went on sale, and three hours later, at noon, there was ne'er a Robbie Williams ticket to be had in Melbourne. Tickets were purchased at a cracking pace - another complete sell-out!

"It's been absolutely record-breaking business," said Chugg. "The speed and volume of tickets sales is something we have never seen in Australia before."

West Australian fans are being urged not to miss their second and absolutely final chance for tickets to see Robbie Williams. There is no doubt this second Subiaco Oval show is definitely the last to be added to the Australian leg of the Robbie Williams: Close Encounters World Tour.

"The fact that Robbie Williams loves Australia and his fans here has never been in doubt," said Chugg.

"The addition of concerts in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and now Perth sends the sentiment right back - all the way to the UK.

"Two Perth stadium shows - what a fantastic start to the Australian leg of the tour."

The Australian dates for the Robbie Williams: Close Encounters World Tour are now confirmed to kick off in Perth at Subiaco Oval on Thursday November 30. Tickets go on sale Tuesday June 27 from Ticketmaster www.ticketmaster.com.au or 136 100.

Australia Scores Most Robbie Williams Shows

The addition of a second show to Brisbane means that Australia will now play host to the most Robbie Williams shows on his current tour.

Promoter Michael Chugg announced the show today for December 14. Tickets will go on sale on June 21.

The two shows at Suncorp Stadium will house approximately the same number of fans as 10 Entertainment Centre shows.

The tour played Brussels yesterday.

Williams will perform the Subiaco Oval show on November 30, with tickets to go on sale on June 27.

"The first concert sold out in a record 30 minutes, and the phenomenal demand for another Perth show that followed almost sent our offices into meltdown," promoter Michael Chugg said.

Williams show sold out in one hour

The Australian

BRITISH pop star Robbie Williams sold out his second concert at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium just over an hour after tickets went on sale, promoters said today.

Williams, whose performances will be the first time the 52,500 capacity football stadium is used for a rock concert, plays in Brisbane on December 13-14.

Australian promoter Michael Chugg said the ticket sales for the nationwide outdoor concert tour by Williams had been "extraordinary".

Both shows at Sydney's Aussie stadium and Melbourne's Telstra Dome had also sold out, Chugg said.

Williams plays nine shows on the Australian-leg of his Robbie Williams: Close Encounters World Tour.

The tour starts at Perth's Subiaco Oval on December 1. Tickets for the second Perth concert go on sale next Tuesday.

Well done Australia. I just cannot believe that some countries are showing us UK fans what to do! LOL What with Paris, hang my head in shame, that I never thought of something so simple and effective such as a

Australia, you will have to do the same. It would look sensational.

Love you Robbie! Make the most of him you guys. It is probably his last major tour :(

So anyone wanting to see him in the UK and elsewhere had better think of going this year!
