The weather has really changed over the past couple of decades. When I was growing up we got loads of snow. We were often snowed in for days on end. I remember one year the blizzard was so bad the snow came under the front door and we had a snowdrift in our hall. :lol:

 

The worst snowstorm in recent times was way back in 1986. I couldn't get to work for 6 days. That was the year the snowplough got stuck in my street. :lol:

 

Recent years have been terrible. Mild and rainy. We get the odd decent snowfall in Jan/Feb but hardly anything before Xmas. But what we do seem to be getting more of is severe winter gales. Last New Year we had winds over 80 miles an hour. Fences, gates, greenhouses, roofs were all whizzing by.....

 

 

The weather is definitely changing I think. Rain and wind rather than cold and snowy. :cry:
