I know a lot of people seem to think that Britney is failing in the UK, but looking at her stats, out of 27 singles she has ha 21 top 10 singles, with a further 5 in the top 20, and all her studio albums in the top 20, I think Britney is still very popular, and still has a lot to offer.

Hold It Against Me drops 10 places to 18 in the UK top 40.

Well, I was reading the other day about how UK singles are changing, as soon as a song hits radio, it will be available to download from iTunes etc.

 

What do you guys think this will do for Britneys following singles, apart from Radar all of her other 26 singles have peaked in the Top 20, do you think these new rules will see an end to this?

Not if she promotes her material.

I wonder how much the video will help this... It's not really doing as well as planned and it's already about to fall out the top 30 on iTunes, I can't see it getting back in the top 10, though I hope I'm wrong!

It's already starting to rise again in quite a few iTunes stores, probably due to exposure from comparisons with Born This Way? So at least should stay steady until the video release.
