NME really had their "Klaxons love in" this week, as they got the single of the year aswell. Apparently Klaxons hate the term "new rave" though, so NME will drop them soon and regret putting them at #1

I own them ones. In all it's a pretty good list I think. ^_^

Some albums should be higher in the list imo.

Terrible #1. I really don't get the fuss around the album. :\

Albums are too low, too high or shouldn't be in there at all. Absolute garbage. Biffy should be #1.

Patrick Wolf and P J Harvey are on my Christmas list and I'll get the Radiohead album on its physical release.

Klaxons are awful... Shit songs, rubbish live and they think that they're amazing.

Glad to see MIA, Kate Nash and NYPC on there.

1) Klaxons - Myths Of The Near Future

I own a lot of these albums. :o Disagree with the #1 though. It's nothing im comparison to The Hold Steady, MIA, LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Patrick Wolf, PJ Harvey, !!!, and Justice.

The NME believe their own hype too much, but it is a pretty good list. Klaxons album is pretty good, but it's miles away from the best of the year.

Argue all you like, the list would still be better than the NME readers' top 50 - I guess that's why they have to almost force themselves to enjoy some of the c**p that remains inexplicably popular.

The NME believe their own hype too much, but it is a pretty good list.

well they have been criticized for always trying too hard to be seen as cool. but then again i guess it could be said there's nothing cool about being a trainspotter

My faves from this list are:

6. Kings Of Leon - Because Of The Times

8. Biffy Clyro - Puzzle

20.Bloc Party - A Weekend In The City

43.Foo Fighters - Echoes,Silence,Patience & Grace

Actually, I'm gonna give them big credit for having Jeffrey Lewis in there.
Uh the only ones I have are Bright Eyes & Kate Nash. I have obviously been missing out on an awful lot.
Not bad......... Kaiser Chiefs should be higher

I dunno, I really like the Chiefs but I thought their second album was pretty awful. Do you like it as much as 'Employment'?

Albums are too low, too high or shouldn't be in there at all. Absolute garbage. Biffy should be #1.

biffy #1 in k!
