They've sold 100 k of the album"Coast to Coast" there. So, no, those 8 million for CTC still looks like bull$h!t ^_^
November 27, 200816 yr Coast to Coast has alone done about 8 million worldwide. The album was a major success in Asia, helped by their Mariah Carey duet and tour. Also I think when the 40mil figure is said they refer to Singles & Album sales... i'm sorry but 8million world wide is utter nonsense! In 2000 Coast to coast was certfied 5xplatinum in the uk 1.5million shipment,, and it was given a 2million sales award in europe,, so 500,000 were shiped sales in the rest of europe (eg ireland,italy germany and so on) so it sold 2million in the year 2000 in europe,, where the hell can the other 6million come from? ok i will give you the benefit of he doubt and say 1.5million in asia (which i believe is personally absurd!!) thats 3.5million?? where else can the other 4.5million come from ??

May 1, 200916 yr In the 'British Hit Albums' Book. (out in late June), there will be a List of the Top 100 Album Acts in the UK - based on Weeks On Chart. An Act needed 292 Album Weeks to be at No.100. The Top 100 'cuts off' on W/E 3rd January 2009. Westlife aren't in the Top 100..... :D

May 2, 200916 yr In the 2005 British Hits Singles and Albums book - Westlife has scored 207 album weeks - now this was when Face to Face had only just been released - i don't know how many weeks Face to Face, The Love Album and Back Home had scored (Back Home was less than 50 though, i know that for sure)

May 3, 200916 yr I'm not surprised their Greatest Hits is the album with the highest weeks in total, although i expected more than 51 giving it's consistent appearances in the Top 100. I have no doubt it will notch up more weeks in time though.
