Has managed to shock almost everyone by returning this year with a successful single and album! and many auditionees on the series today sing this!!! <_< Edited December 22, 200717 yr by Marcus
December 22, 200717 yr Leona is an effing joke, I only hope this is a flash-in-the-pan sucsess sitiation. The only one I like is Girls Aloud, and the only deserving winners from the lot.
December 22, 200717 yr Well lets not forget some of the ones that never actually made it into the show popstars the rivals UMM sad to say and true But the Cheeky Girls Had A Few semi big hits compared to some of the winners of these talent shows just look at Cheeky Song (Touch MY Bum) even the judges said they knew that song would chart and it knocked one true voice off there second week of number 2 do thats quite funny dont have excact figures but cant be that bad
December 23, 200717 yr Leona Lewis is conquering the world: New Entry at n. 9 in Australia this week , download only i think (is out in jenuary). N. 1 in the whoole Europe by the end of next month!

December 23, 200717 yr  'Fraid not! Better get used to it ^_^ No way!!!, she'll be like The Darkness. i.e. the so-called greatest thing to happen to the industry, and then relegated to the fogotten pop star leauge, just like Hear'Say only without the abuse in the street. Which was out of order, even if they were dreadful. Edited December 23, 200717 yr by Marcus
December 23, 200717 yr Will Youngs was the best :P No Way - Apart from a semi-hit in Holland & Italy he's never seen the light of day outside UK & Ireland. Unlike Leona who (within 6 months) could quite easily be emulating the worldwide success of Kelly Clarkson and desevedly so. She's got a great voice unlike squeaky Will Young. IMO this is my order with the most talented first: Leona Lewis Girls Aloud Hear'say Shayne Ward Leon Michelle McManus Will Young Steve Brookstein Edited December 23, 200717 yr by Euro Music
December 23, 200717 yr Will Youngs was the best :P & still is in my opinion. Success is a marathon not a sprint & Will has had 3 hugely successful albums in the UK. Euro Music wrote: Unlike Leona who (within 6 months) could quite easily be emulating the worldwide success of Kelly Clarkson and desevedly so. Nothing against Kelly but after her MASSIVE worldwide success of her last album her home fans & those in the UK haven't bought into her last album. Shows it isn't that easy to plough your own path, break free from the shckles of the likes of Simon Cowell & Clive Davis & still be successful. I'm sure Leona will be hugely successful in America with her debut album, she is talented & can't fail with the heavyweights behind her but I know Will wouldn't want to trade places for her for the world. Being totally controlled just isn't his thing. Hence why he turned down a US contract & hasn't bothered much promoting in Europe or Asia. Still many who have aren't still round to tell the tale.
