8? And you pre-booked seats?

Are U2 not all that popular in Southern England? I guess not.

we all pre booked seats  and then we all huddled into one area :P

Is sad really that the cinema wasnt full, and when we came out, there was noone waiting

to go into the next showing

I don't think it was advertised here enough tbh, not one U2 cinema poster to be seen outside on the boards

Where did I say I was going to see it tonight. 'The Weekend' I said. Lost the glasses again i see :drink : :P

Bono called Ronnie the King of Ireland, the all the greats were there. Shane McGowen was there as drunk as ever. Have you ever heard him laugh? Because he has no teeth, he makes a truly bizzare sound, a bit like a snake when he laughs. It is hilarous

The song will be #1 here without a doubt. It's excellent and was written by Bono, the edge and some other guy who I don't know.

Download tomorrow I think, but released on CD next week. I have no idea if it's being released in the UK though. It's just so Irish I doubt they would bother  It will be available to watch on the Late Late site here in the morning I should imagine. It was really great. Poor Ronnie Drew has cancer though, and is completelly bald now. He looks awful and unrecognisable considering he usually has a massive beard and really long hair. Btw, on another note, Sinead O'Connor was there, and as I've posted before, she lives down the road from me now, and I noticed tonight that she has a huge statue of 'Our Lady' in the front of her house.
