December 22, 200717 yr Author Here are the week's drop outs from the top 75. Ladytron – Destroy Everything You Touch [6 wks] (73-41-37-35-54-x-57-x) Linkin Park – Shadow Of The Day [5 wks] (60-63-58-58-67-x) Peter Gelderblom – Waiting 4 [1 wk] (74-x) Craig David – Hot Stuff [9 wks] (61-44-46-36-17-20-23-29-60-x) Hard-Fi – Can’t Get Along [10 wks] (65-40-23-25-25-26-22-29-37-50-x) Justin Timberlake/Beyonce – Until The End Of Time [5 wks] (70-53-42-47-59-x) The Ghost Frequency – Never Before Have I Seen A Man Alive That Looks So Exactly Like A Skeleton [2 wks] (70-x-75-x) Westlife – Home [6 wks] (50-44-47-49-54-73-x) Girls Aloud – Girl Overboard [3 wks] (75-70-71-x) Celine Dion – Taking Chances [6 wks] (57-42-46-56-68-65-x) Not much of note here in all honesty
December 22, 200717 yr Author 75. (51) 114 Queens Of The Stone Age – Make It Wit Chu [4 wks] (55-45-51-75) 74. (46) 116 Remi Nicole – Rock N Roll [8 wks] (68-40-46-48-44-35-46-74) 73. (**) 121 Ernie K-Doe – Here Come The Girls [1 wk] (73) 72. (47) 123 Foals – Balloons [4 wks] (67-56-47-72) 71. (**) 125 Kelly Rowland – Work [1 wk] (71) We kick the chart off with 2 of the 10 new entries and also 3 big drops aswell. The new entries come from Kelly Rowland and Ernie K-Doe, with a song originally released in 1970. This has been receiving exposure from a Boots Christmas Advert. The fallers are Queens Of The Stone Age, Foals, who could make it big in 2008, and Remi Nicole, who is the weeks biggest faller dropping from 46-74.
December 22, 200717 yr Author 70. (**) 134 Duffy – Rockferry [1 wk] (70) 69. (62) 135 Pendulum – Granite [3 wks] (65-62-69) 68. (58) 138 Editors – The Racing Rats [6 wks] (34-38-41-38-58-68) 67. (**) 138 Scouting For Girls – Elvis Ain’t Dead [1 wk] (67) 66. (70) 141 Newton Faulkner – Teardrop [2 wks] (70-66) 2 more new entries here from Duffy, a young Welsh singer-songwriter set for massive things in 2008, and Scouting For Girls with Elvis Ain’t Dead, which is their catchiest single yet in my opinion, but it’ll need to appear in quite a lot more charts to beat the peak of previous single She’s So Lovely, which peaked at #21. Also small drops for Editors and Pendulum, and our first rise of the chart by Newton Faulkner.
December 22, 200717 yr No surprises so far. Scouting For Girls might enter in my next chart, I might need to listen to it a bit more though.
December 22, 200717 yr Author No surprises so far. Scouting For Girls might enter in my next chart, I might need to listen to it a bit more though. Their best song yet imo :o It's not amazing though ^_^
December 22, 200717 yr Author 65. (56) 143 Nicole Scherzinger – Baby Love [11 wks] (61-35-24-24-16-20-25-28-42-56-65) 64. (45) 155 The Hoosiers – Goodbye Mr A [13 wks] (58-53-58-41-26-28-24-24-32-34-41-45-64) 63. (55) 158 Jordin Sparks – Tattoo [12 wks] (63-40-52-51-46-46-67-x-61-48-43-55-63) 62. (42) 162 Ida Corr/Fedde Le Grand – Let Me Think About It [16 wks] (67-40-27-17-12-9-13-16-15-21-21-26-30-34-42-62) 61. (37) 168 Avril Lavigne – Hot [11 wks] (36-14-12-14-11-12-14-22-25-37-61) 5 more drops down the chart here, all of which could be considered long runners. Nicole Scherzinger has flopped with her debut solo single it seems, peaking at only #16. The Hoosiers drop for the 5th week running, although they suffered their biggest drop yet, going from 45-64. Jordin Sparks has done well despite having no UK release, and is now in her 12th week in the chart. Ida Corr/Fedde Le Grand drop 20 places, but are one of the longest runners in the chart at 16 weeks, and Avril is at #61, although Hot hasn’t reached the same levels as Girlfriend and When You’re Gone, which both made the #1 spot.
December 22, 200717 yr Author 60. (44) 171 Maroon 5 – Won’t Go Home Without You [8 wks] (62-59-62-52-40-33-44-60) 59. (36) 175 Mika – Happy Ending [13 wks] (45-30-14-10-9-10-13-15-18-24-27-36-59) 58. (**) 175 Radiohead – Jigsaw Falling Into Place [1 wk] (58) 57. (61) 177 Stereophonics – My Friends [3 wks] (60-61-57) 56. (53) 179 The White Stripes – Conquest [2 wks] (53-56) Our 5th new entry so far comes from Radiohead, with the debut single from their apparently “revolutionary” album In Rainbows. 2 more big drops come from Maroon 5 and Mika, although Mika still has 2 songs to come. White Stripes also drop, and now look set to miss the top 40 with their 3rd single from Icky Thump. Stereophonics give us our 2nd rise of the chart, rising from 61-57 with My Friends.
December 22, 200717 yr Author Kelly Rowland Work must be a future #01 the Freemasons remix is amazing  I don't even know the song :o It should do well though ^_^
December 22, 200717 yr Author 55. (**) 179 Andy Williams – It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year [1 wk] (55) 54. (39) 187 KT Tunstall – Saving My Face [7 wks] (73-40-24-25-26-39-54) 53. (68) 188 Wham – Last Christmas [2 wks] (68-53) 52. (43) 193 The Killers – Tranquilize [9 wks] (48-30-31-32-27-32-31-43-52) 51. (49) 194 The Enemy – We’ll Live And Die In These Towns [3 wks] (66-x-49-51) We say hello to our first 2 Christmas songs in the chart, with Wham rising 15 places up to 53. Also Andy Williams is a surprise Christmas Entry at #55, although his song is boosted by its appearance on the Marks & Spencers Christmas Advert. We’re down to just 4 new entries in the top 50. The other 3 songs drop, with KT Tunstall on the slide, along with The Killers and The Enemy. All 3 have had bigger hits this year, most notably KT, who hit #6 with previous single Hold On.
December 22, 200717 yr Author 50. (54) 195 David Guetta – Baby When The Light [5 wks] (64-39-44-54-50) 49. (69) 196 Wizzard – I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday [2 wks] (69-49) 48. (33) 197 Nickelback – Rockstar [6 wks] (50-36-35-30-33-48) 47. (63) 205 Soulja Boy – Crank Dat [2 wks] (63-47) 46. (**) 211 Cascada – Last Christmas [1 wk] (46) A couple more Christmas songs appear in the chart, with Wizzard rising up 20 places with the classic I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday. Also Cascada appear with Last Christmas, which is the double-A side to What Hurts The Most I believe. More from Cascada later…………… 2 more rises aswell, from David Guetta, who had previously dropped 2 weeks in a row, and Soulja Boy, with his weird Crank That Superman song. Nickelback fall 15 places, but I really don’t know why Rockstar even appeared, considering the album is over 2 years old. Something to do with famous people in the video? I don’t get it personally
December 22, 200717 yr Author 45. (**) 213 Filo & Peri – Anthem [1 wk] (45) 44. (72) 218 Adele – Chasing Pavements [2 wks] (72-44) 43. (**) 220 Electrovamp – I Don’t Like The Vibe In The VIP [1 wk] (43) 42. (40) 221 Kate Bush – Lyra [4 wks] (72-55-40-42) 41. (34) 222 Christina Aguilera – Oh Mother [3 wks] (51-34-41) We lose 2 more of our new entries just before the top 40, although both are brilliant pop/dance songs that deserve to be hits. Filo & Peri arrive at #45 with Anthem, and Electrovamp are new at #43. Electrovamp are 2 sisters from South Wales called Kally and Tammy, and look set to storm the chart in early 2008 with I Don’t like the Vibe in the VIP. Another star in the making Adele makes a big rise from 72-44, but it’s not quiet our biggest rise of the chart. Kate Bush drops slightly, and looks like she’s hit her peak now, but I’m not sure why Christina Aguilera dropped, unless it’s a really poor song. I haven’t heard it personally, but most of the stuff she does gets high in the Multichart.
December 22, 200717 yr Author I think i'll do the top 40 a bit later, there's hardly anyone online :o There is 1 new entry left to come ^_^ Any early top 10 predictions? :o
