December 28, 200717 yr Author But no U2? It's second on my list  Or do you mean it won't be released?
December 28, 200717 yr It won't be released. But look here. This story is all over the Web. And they have confirmed Robbie is playing Knebworth on this 'Revenge Tour'. Well I never. It must indeed be true  http://www.javno.com/en/bestseller/clanak.php?id=110153 Robbie Williams To Stage £150 Million Tour Robbie Williams is set to stage a £150 million world comeback tour.bangshowbiz.com The 'Angels' singer is keen to prove he is bigger than his old band Take That - who recently completed a sold-out European tour - by lining up a sensational string of concerts of his own. A source close to Robbie - whose last album 'Rudebox' was panned by critics - told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Whatever the critics say he is a force to be reckoned with and everyone knows he puts on a great show which is why millions across the globe are always desperate to get their hands on his concert tickets. "After so long out of the limelight his fans are desperate to see him back where he belongs, on stage. "It has the potential to be one of the biggest tours ever see." The tour will see Robbie perform at Knebworth, England, once more, where he played to 375,000 in just three days in 2003. Robbie's comeback plans come as Take That are reaching new heights with their reunion. Their track 'Rule The World', written for the film 'Stardust', is hotly tipped to be nominated for Best Song at the Oscars, while their album 'Beautiful World' is still number eight in the UK album charts, despite being released over a year ago. Frontman Gary Barlow recently rubbished rumours Robbie - who quit the group in 1995 - would be rejoining the band for a one-off performance, saying: "There is no place for Robbie in Take That anymore." December 28, 200717 yr http://www.hiphop-elements.com/article/read/4/12831/1/ British singer Robbie Williams is planning a huge musical comeback for 2008 - to rival the reunion success of his former Take That bandmates. The Angels hit-maker - who recently ended his four-year recording deal with EMI - is reportedly so jealous of Take That's comeback success, he is planning a similar stunt. A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "Robbie's watched Take That come back and be successful. Now's the time to show he is even better as a solo artist and has the success that they can only ever dream of."
December 28, 200717 yr Author You just could'nt make it up. For starters TT's European tour was most certainly not fully sold out, despite them playing in small arenas  And I doubt Rob will do Knebworth again, not till he is alot older anyway. It is too soon to try and top those legendary gigs. As for U2, it will definatly be released next year, as Bono confirmed it recently. Read in the paper :P
December 28, 200717 yr I read there wasn't going to be a U2 album in 2008. I hope you're right!   Is Daniel releasing an album next year?
December 28, 200717 yr Author I read there wasn't going to be a U2 album in 2008. I hope you're right!   Is Daniel releasing an album next year? No, Bono was at the horse races on Boxing Day, and when asked what he was up in the new year, he replied by saying something like 'nothing, except one little matter of releasing an album" :yahoo: And yes, wee Danny boy will have his usual half a dozen albums out next year. Although, he was on the news today very upset that his arch rival Joe Dolan has died. Apperently 50,000 went to his funeral today
December 28, 200717 yr I'd never heard of Joe Dolan. Look what I just found on Robbie's Wikipedia by the way- 'Robbie Williams is the artist to be featured the most times in the UK Now Thats What I Call Music! series. In the first 68 Now!'s he has apperared 29 times (including 4 times with Take That). His first appearance was with Take That on Now 22 and his most recently appearance was on Now 66 with She's Madonna'
December 28, 200717 yr Madge is one of the few female pop acts I can tolerate, although I agree about her getting rid of those bloody leotards :puke: Next year is going to be just great though. My four fave acts all releasing albums :o I am most looking forward to the following releases: Robbie U2 Oasis MJ R.E.M Coldplay (apperently it's going to be a very different sound and it produced by Brain Eno) Robbie Anastacia (Which will be released on the same date as Coldplays) Aerosmith

He is the Irish Tom Jones really  He had huge success with his hit 'Make Me An Island' around the world. Although his signiture song is 'You're such a good looking women' which is actually a very good pop song (in a funny way) :P. He was only 68 though. Here are the songs to see if you know them. Good Looking Women tfm0Vsh5Tjo Make me an island 61J8b8NwSDI

Read in the paper :P Did Robbie Williams all by H I M S E L F not earn 32 million in nine months in 2006....I am sure that he is sitting at home now in LA biting his nails up to his elbows worrying about the competition out there....AS IF...the people writing these reports need to get a grip on reality....Robbie Williams has not gone anywhere & the whole music world does not totally revolve around the UK...what about the rest of us fans elsewhere...do we not count.... Robbie may not sell as many records WORLDWIDE in the future but that is the way the music busines is going anyway.......that is what happens when you have plenty of free downloads going around......what happened with Radiohead recently...60% of their fans said that they would pay ZERO for the new album...so there you go..that is loyalty for you even if it affects the artist...how is a new young artist supposed to even get going in the music business if everyone wants something for nothing......times are a changing in the music business ...lets see can Robbie stand up to that challenge...my guess is that he quite capable of doing so...... ;)
December 28, 200717 yr Author  Well I supose they were'nt really arch rivals. It is very like Tom and Cliff, both very different but appeal to the same sort of people. Although Joe was around for 40 + years whereas Danny has only been around for 20 I think :P

Although, I still think if he promoted it and it was classic Rob pop/rock, it could be a UK million seller, and top 5m sales worldwide, even in todays climate, unless 2008 sees the business go really really downhill. And yes, Rob earned £32m ($67m) for the tour alone, himself. The tour grossed £170m, so EMI get 25%, Rob himself gets 25%, and the rest goes to the cost of it and into the In Good Company I suspect ^_^

December 29, 200717 yr Well I'm sure Guy is thrilled to have made up with Rob and writing with him again. He can look forward to a certified hit in the future. Funny how the press goes on about Guy being the hit maker behind Rob and yet he hasn't really come up with any remarkable hits writing with others. About this article, the only truth in it is that Rob will be coming out with a new album in 2008. If he will do any live performances I'd imagine it would be in '09. I don't think he should be touring again anyways, not in the traditional sense. He can just do a few live gigs, like he did for Intensive Care promos. Not only does it not give him more flexibility and more room to breathe, but it gives fans a chance to see him in a more intimate setting. Tickets won't be easy to get but the fans are a resourceful bunch so I think they'll find a way to get them. I don't get how they came at the 150 million pound figure though ?? Did they just pull that out of a hat ??

My only concern is this bloody so called Swing album....I hope that it not just typical Swing but something a bit different...I would even prefer Jazz to Swing...I alsways thought that Robbie was not one to repeat himself...but then we never thought that we would see him & GC back writing together again...now that is an album that I am looking forward to with some Mark Ronson in there as well....Mark said recently that he had heard some new Robbie tracks which were great & that he hoped to work on his next studio album...so its' anyone's guess what is going to happen but the anticipation is just great...... :P :P :P I will bet though that Robbie will promote the hell out of it.... B)..... Absolutely true what you say about GC but he has been working with a lot of artists & buiness seems to be booming for the guy...he may not have had the RW/GC hits but he is getting huge amounts of work....RW & GC had that special karma musically that only comes around every now & then....I notice that Guy wrote on Kylies X album & the track is just Ok...the whole album is just OK...... <_< looks like poor old Guy can only get the hits with Robbie....& he knows it....so I guess he had a very good Chjristmas with a big smile on his face..... :P Edited December 29, 200717 yr by scorpionstingray
December 29, 200717 yr wow this cant be so!?!? :o :o :o He was visibly worn out by the end of last years tour!! He wasnt faking it!! He is not built for massive world tours!
