Posted January 11, 200817 yr http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c2/DELTA_artwork.jpg I noticed this was stocked in the store the other day - i didnt know this was out - so was that a kosher release and not like an import or anything and if so...is that all they are doing for promotion, it was stick in an unloved position in store - or was it a soft release???
January 11, 200817 yr It must be an import. I don;t know of a UK release and I'm sure the fans would've said something if so... I am a HUGE Delta fan but I find this album a bit meh :(

January 12, 200817 yr it's an import...I saw it in HMV too...if I was to do an iTunes popularity bar of how much I like this album in comparison to the first two, it would look like this llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Innocent Eyes lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Mistaken Identity llllllllllllllllll Delta It's a MASSIVE letdown to be honest...there is only one outstanding track (Believe Again), 3 great tracks (In This Life, You Will Only Break My Heart, Possessionless) and a sea of mediocre to good tracks...having said that the b-sides of this era (Fever, Take Me Home, Fortune & Love, Unsure) are once again very good and better than most of the album tracks...
January 12, 200817 yr I love this album!!! Its more contemporary pop then the last two, but i think she needs to do it in order to move on. The songs are amazing and my favourites are In This Life, You Will Only Break My Heart, The Guardian, and Brave Face Hopefully they'll be a UK release some time in April i think

January 12, 200817 yr It's definitely an import, it's cheaper to get it shipped from Australia to be honest. :lol: I very much like the album though, there is only a couple of tracks on it that I don't particularly care much for but the rest are great!

I think the general consenus is that Woman is the worst track (though I quite like that) but my worst track on there is Bare Hands this would have been my tracklisting for the album: 1. Believe Again 2. In This Life 3. Possessionless 4. Take Me Home 5. God Laughs 6. Fever 7. You Will Only Break My Heart 8. Fortune & Love 9. Woman 10. I Can't Break It To My Heart 11. The Guardian 12. Right Here In My Heart to be honest, I wouldn't include Bare Hands, Brave Face, One Day and Angels In The Room as they are far from her best work...

January 12, 200817 yr The only 2 songs I don't like much are 'Brave Face' and 'One Day'. THe other tracks are all great songs, but I do think the album is very messy - the songs don't really flow that well together. They are great as standalone songs or b-side songs butn they don't fit that well as an album. That's my opinion though. 'Bare Hands' is my favourite song! :wub:
January 12, 200817 yr One Day is pretty much one of the most dire songs I've heard, I also don't rate Woman but I can actually listen to that one. It's just a little cheesy. I actually also believe in some poll on the official Delta forums You Will Only Break My Heart rated quite highly among peoples least favourites, although I personally find it quite catchy. My favourite off the album is naturally Possessionless - I have loved it since 2005 and never will I turn it off. It's my alarm, I wake up to it every morning. I also highly rate In This Life, God Laughs, I Can't Break It To My Heart, The Guardian and Bare Hands.
