I remember when I first heard this song at the album preview, it just made me laugh that Shakira did a song like this. It's just so awesome! The production is so poppy and upbeat whereas the lyrics are so dark and full of meaning. Really love this song.

Wouldn't it be awesome if she released it/performed it publicly around the time of the 2008 Olympics in China, due to their repression of people and our governments inability to try and do anything about it - I think it'd hit home to some people :D
