January 21, 200817 yr :rofl::rofl: Edit - Anybody know the rescheduled date for the Derby-Wednesday replay? tuesday i think
January 21, 200817 yr Fulham's replay against Bristol Rovers and Derby's with Sheffield Wednesday are in serious doubt for being able to be played in mid week. If this is the case they will be played on 4th round saturday, with the winners playing there first matches on what will be the date of 4th round replays
January 21, 200817 yr Oh ffs. This'll put us even further behind if Bristol - Fulham is postpones. Winning tomorrow is a MUST now!
January 24, 200817 yr I know the TV rights must have been decided a while ago but Sky & BBC must be kicking themselves atm. "The magic of the FA Cup" yet they're showing Man City vs Sheffield Utd and not Liverpool vs H&W.
January 24, 200817 yr There;s a good blog article by the MOTD editor about their selections and why they couldn't risk Havant... Edited January 24, 200817 yr by RabbitFurCoat
January 24, 200817 yr i don't care what they say, either Sky or BBC could have done a deal with the FA to pick up the match afterwards, as this is what the magic of the FA Cup is, seeing teams like H&W travelling to Anfield. I'm sicking of seeing Man Utd ties being shown on the BBC for the FA Cup now -_-

I'm sicking of seeing Man Utd ties being shown on the BBC for the FA Cup now -_- After reading that blog thing on the BBC site I can now see why the BBC pick Man Utd so much, but I agree about they should be allowed to wait until after the replays before deciding what games to choose. I know it's easier said than done, but these sorts of games rarely come about now [well, on this magnitude at least] and this is the game most of the UK are interested in too, but hohum.
January 24, 200817 yr I wonder if they dare choose Liverpool for the next round just incase H&W beat them and end up playing a non Premier League team <_< :heehee:
January 25, 200817 yr After reading that blog thing on the BBC site I can now see why the BBC pick Man Utd so much, but I agree about they should be allowed to wait until after the replays before deciding what games to choose. I know it's easier said than done, but these sorts of games rarely come about now [well, on this magnitude at least] and this is the game most of the UK are interested in too, but hohum. After Derby-Preston, that's the game I'm most interested in. (And it's only because I support Preston.) And the BBC promote it with the tagline "the magic of the FA Cup". So their games this weekend: Saturday lunchtime: Mansfield Town vs Middlesbrough Saturday evening: Wigan Athletic vs Chelsea Sunday afternoon: Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur Magic my arse. January 25, 200817 yr As I said, READ THE ARTICLE. I'm going to find it actually and post the link. It's alright criticising but it's not entirely fair when they have pretty good reasons. It is NOTreally either the BBC, or Sky's fault. There's only so much they can do! http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/sporteditors/20...f_the_draw.html I do think they should've picked Pompey-Plymouth instead of Wigan-Chelsea, though...
