Posted January 18, 200817 yr It is with the greatest of regret that Natasha Bedingfield has had to cancel her forthcoming UK tour. This is through no fault of Natasha herself, but due to her US Label insisting that she remains in US until further notice to promote the release of her album, Pocket Full of Sunshine there. All tickets for the UK tour will be reimbursed. Please contact your ticket vendor for further details. Natasha is very disappointed to be missing the opportunity to perform live in the UK, and has insisted that she make a short trip to the UK in the Spring for a number of intimate free acoustic gigs. More info will follow on this from Natasha herself direct. My favourite kind of concert - free! Can't say I'm surprised it's cancelled in the slightest but I'm glad they've come to some sort of solution that keeps everyone happy. I for one am not upset to get my money back and still see Natasha so I hope I can make the acoustic gigs.
January 18, 200817 yr It's only good if we actually manage to get tickets for the free gigs though! Hope we get some kind of priority if we already had tour tickets! I'm not suprised the tour was cancelled though! Thanks for posting the confirmation! I'll drown my sorrows by listening to the new album when it arrives :D!
January 18, 200817 yr Author I don't think I'd be that annoyed if I never bought tour tickets and missed the free shows, because it's not like I'd have reasons to complain. Spring isn't July, I think July is more Summer. I'm reckoning April/May.
January 19, 200817 yr I would have been so cheesed off if it was cancelled with nothing replacing it, I would have been willing to pay for the acoustic concert but the fact that it's free is great! :D
January 19, 200817 yr Author Yeah I'm not sure how it's going to be refunded whether they want tickets sent back or whether the money will just be placed back on peoples cards regardless. I'll let you know when I find out. I'm thinking they won't be wanting the tickets back though because they're useless now.
January 19, 200817 yr Grrr, so not only was it rescheled, now it's cancelled altogether? That's VERY annoying.
January 19, 200817 yr Grrr, so not only was it rescheled, now it's cancelled altogether? That's VERY annoying. Yeah but we get our money back and a free acoustic gig so I'm grateful! :P
January 19, 200817 yr Yeah I know, but still these free acousitc gigs more than likely won't be anywhere near me, and I'll probably end up missing it...
January 19, 200817 yr Yeah I know, but still these free acousitc gigs more than likely won't be anywhere near me, and I'll probably end up missing it... That's a shame but I think they made the right move to be honest, whether we like it or not because Natasha an her label would be making a huge loss as sales were very low.
January 19, 200817 yr It's not going to be possible for all the people with tour tickets to go to the free gigs cuz surely they will be much smaller events and only very few of them...so I'm not holding my breath that I'll get to go...
January 20, 200817 yr :( How annoying....and like people have said, I doubt that the gigs will be near me when she does come over and seeing it's free, doubt I'd get in anyway
