In my opinion, Sugababes comes across as a slightly unstable band (evident in it's constant change in line up), yes they have some great songs (PTB, AYN), and yes they may have had more No.1 singles than Girls Aloud, but they also have some disapointments i.e: flops, where as Girls Aloud never fail to deliver brilliant pop songs all of which have never charted out of the top 10.

The Sugababes have shown that they can last the distance and are great at comebacks, but how long will it be till Sugababes are three girls that weren't even in the original lineup??? it's goin that way! where as Girls Aloud have never had to 'comeback' because they've never, flopped, or lost a member, all 5 girls have stayed loyal to the band and more importantly their fans, because they know thery're onto somthing good...and so do I!........that is why I have voted for Girls Aloud!

I really want to know how two line-up changes in a 7-year history consitutes as 'constant'. Please explain, somebody! :(
Most rock bands make band changes after/before/between each album or tour.

Well it's not constant but you have to admit it's hardly the traditional path for a girl group. Fair enough a few groups have one member leave and replaced, but two is pretty rare. Despite the lineup changes they're still successful and delivering a high standard of music which is always the most important thing.

I voted for Girls Aloud though.

I don't know what it is with both groups but I seem to love the singles, but not the albums. However, I think Girls Aloud have really progressed since their debut album and I honestly think Tangled Up is their most solid album to date. On the other hand the Sugababes albums seem to have peaked for me, in my opinion their best album was Three and they have gotten progressively worse since then for me. Oh I also think as far as the lead vocalists go - Nadine is far stronger than Keisha. Just my opinion though. ^_^

They're not a rock band :P

Sugababes definitely!

They have input in what they do, they have great voices and armonies and their songs have meaning. I think they try to release something different time after time... not like GA releasing trashy dance track after trashy dance track...

I seriously adore both, but I have more cds from Girls Aloud, theyre generally more catchier and fun, but Sugababes are brilliant vocally and I think Girls Aloud are not quite as good vocally,
may I add that most of GA songs have nonsense lyrics...

Hmm ok, so you tell me how many GA singles you can class as 'dance'... about 4.

The Sugababes are so chic and very talented, Girls Aloud are a bit skanky but since "Can't Speak French" is played on my Ipod a lot.. I actually have to say Girls Aloud (which even surprises myself)

Thats the most ignorant thing i think i've ever heard on one of these Suga vs. GA debates. How can you say that when some Girls Aloud tracks are very similar to Suga's?! Dear me...

Errr, mabye because it's my OPINION? In no way was what I said ignorant, just because your a GA fangirl and can't handle criticism of them doesn't mean i'm ignorant D':

And I don't find any GA tracks similar to sugababes, although i'm sure you'll point some out *x*

GA and SB are my two favorite bands, and i constantly change which one is my favorite, at the moment its Girls Aloud, but i think they are both good in their own way.
