May 21, 200619 yr Why are Germany second favourites ? Yeah, they're the home nation but they have a terrible squad and wont get far IMO.
May 21, 200619 yr Why are Germany second favourites ? Yeah, they're the home nation but they have a terrible squad and wont get far IMO. I predicted them to go in the first round the last time and they got to the final.

May 21, 200619 yr Who does them rediculous rankings ?? Clearly Czech Republic and Mexico are no where near as good as England, France, Portugal, Spain & Italy etc...
May 21, 200619 yr Author This will really help if you are trying to predict what will happen in the World Cup, especially who will meet who in the knockout stages to help work out who will make the Final, Semi Final, Quarter-Final, etc. BBC World Cup Predictor HERE
May 21, 200619 yr Ivory Coast and the USA will be the suprise packages of this years World Cup in my opinion. Ivory Coast looked strong with ALL their qualifiers and only managed to concede once. They've got players like Drogba and Eboue so I don't think they'll do too badly at all. USA have almost been rebuilt from ground upwards and, sure, their squad may not be the strongest but they are a consistent team as any. West Ham anyone?

Ivory Coast conceded 3 in one match to Cameoon in the Qualifiers
May 21, 200619 yr Ivory Coast conceded 3 in one match to Cameoon in the Qualifiers  Really? I'm sure 'World Cup Focus' said they only condeded one yesterday
May 21, 200619 yr Really? I'm sure 'World Cup Focus' said they only condeded one yesterday  Yep, they conceded 7 overall. P W D L Gls Pts 1.Ivory Coast 10 7 1 2 20- 7 22
May 21, 200619 yr Yep, they conceded 7 overall. P W D L Gls Pts 1.Ivory Coast 10 7 1 2 20- 7 22 Wow, that proves my theory wrong then. I still think they'll be quite a force in the World Cup though, providing they can manage to get past the group of death.
May 21, 200619 yr Oh and I reckon it'll be an Argentina V Brazil Final with Argentina winning it. That's what I predicted in the predictor game.

Same here, but I doubt they'll get out of their group. The toughest one of them all IMO. Having Holland, Argentina and Serbia & Montenegro in it. I can't see them getting anything from Holland and Argentina. Edited May 22, 200619 yr by Alias
May 21, 200619 yr I would've said that they'd be a surprise package but as I think the Argies and Holland are two of the best teams in it I now think they'll go out 1st round...
May 22, 200619 yr Can serbia and monternegro still enter as yesterday they voted to be seperate from each other!
May 23, 200619 yr Brazil's odds are ridiculous IMO, as I personally don't think they'll win. I think they'll go far but won't win; personally I think it will be England or Germany.
