January 28, 200817 yr Spot on and i agree with you. Whilst i agree to an extent she made a mistake, what she did was unforgivable and shouldn't ever be forgotten. She helped cover up the murder, and i agree, we dont know exactly what happened or exactly what she is capable of. Covering up a murder as big as this one, especially a child killer, is unexcusable and just as bad as the killer imo. She wasn't there, she was in Grimsby hundreds of miles from Soham Huntley killed the girls alone and disposed of them alone, she lied to the police about his whereabouts at the time of the murders, stupid and irresponsible yes but all the signs are that it was done out of FEAR, people can do things totally out of character when $h!t scared James and Huntley had a history of domestic violence so Maxine Carr feeling scared acted out of character and did what she did. I don't condone what she did and she was rightly punished for it but I can understand why she did it, fear of Huntley and his violent history in relationships, fear of being alone without the guy she loved
January 28, 200817 yr Same could be said for any mum though, Carr and the kid will never be let out of police sight I think a kid would be safer being bought up by Maxine Carr than being bought up by some of the chav scum parents we see about these days Yeah well thats true I suppose. I'm more annoyed at the fact we're paying for it.
January 28, 200817 yr She's clearly that traumatized she's wasted no time having sex and getting pregnant! How many years has it been since the Soham murders again? ;)
January 28, 200817 yr IM FUKKING PAYING FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH FFS!!! Grow UP!!!! I get sick of people whingeing on about "oh, my bloody taxes are being spent on this, blah, blah..." and then you go on to say "I'd shoot her given half a chance", and then you wonder WHY TAXPAYERS MONEY IS BEING SPENT ON PROTECTING HER AND HER KID from loonies who would do them harm.... I mean come ON....... Maybe if there weren't nutters out there saying sh!t like they'd shoot her, she wouldn't bloody well need protection at the taxpayer's expense.. You want someone to blame for where your taxes go..? Look in a fukkin' mirror sometime folks..... <_<
January 28, 200817 yr How do you know if this articule is true? It could just be the newspaper trying to wind up us because they are trying to locate her. If she has a new idenity then she wouldn't go telling her friends that she is pregnant. She isn't ment to be kept in contact with friends unless these are her new friends known by her new name but how would they know it's her. Even if she is pregnant then I feel sorry for the child because thats the one that's going to get it if the media find out her actual location. Also how would the child feel knowing that their mum lied to the police about the killings.
January 28, 200817 yr How many years has it been since the Soham murders again? ;) Exactly.. The woman has to get on with her life and forget Huntley ever existed... Mary Bell has never committed another offence, neither has Melanie Lynskey or Pauline Parker, the two New Zealand girls who killed Pauline's mother (which was the subject of Peter Jackson's fantastic film "Heavenly Creatures"). The facts are, these women (well, they were girls at the time of the crimes) went on from these horrendous events to live normal family lives.. If they can do it, I see no reason Maxine Carr cant either... She's clearly with a much better man now than Huntley, someone who actually cares for her, and, most importantly, isn't so quick to judge people because of actions they were probably forced into....

Very salient points there Kate, and questions which no one else here seems to be bothering to ask, they just launch into their "kill the b**ch" rants without any actual verification of the facts... The tabloids can print whatever sh!te they like about Maxine Carr, let's face it, she aint exactly gonna come out of anonymity or protection to take the buggers to court for LIBEL is she....? And, what is it that Maxine Carr was found guilty of...? Giving false statements to the Police... Well, she's in pretty good fukkin' company there as well - politicians, celebs, "respectable" businessmen, Peers of the fukkin' REALM like "Lord" fukkin' ARCHER (who also LIED UNDER OATH in a court of law folks....)

Half the fukking people that get protection are people that DO NOT deserve it! Take those 2 lads that killed that little toddler when they was 10?, when they came out they got protection and still have it! I'd much prefer protection to go to people that deserve it, people hiding from abusive partners, better protection for the kids. But no of course not, everday deaths don't get anywhere only high profile ones.

Take those 2 lads that killed that little toddler when they was 10?, when they came out they got protection and still have it! Without wanting a repeat of the James Bulger debate, this post completely fails to take into account any concept of repentance, instead probably making the assumption that the two are 'naturally evil' and 'incapable' of regret and therefore that they don't deserve protection -_- Put simply, any vigilantes that went after them would be murderers themselves, so there is no moral justification for saying such people don't deserve protection.
January 28, 200817 yr Well what can I say nearly 10 years ago now I only got molested and I don't want kids cos if it. I suppose everyone handles it in different ways. Why should anyone be put off having children because their lover murders them? They aren't responsible for the murders, it would be a different matter had she been the murderer...
January 28, 200817 yr Why should anyone be put off having children because their lover murders them? They aren't responsible for the murders, it would be a different matter had she been the murderer... Ermmm I think I would be to be honest. Could you delete my quote thanks.
January 28, 200817 yr I suppose everyone handles it in different ways. Oh my god that was supposed to edit. I'm a spaz. Edited January 28, 200817 yr by Daylight Dancer
January 28, 200817 yr Who the fukk died and made you god? I could say the same thing to you Clare... Who the hell are YOU to decide who's worthy of anonymity and protection.... Thank fukk you dont run the country, you'd have a 'Vigilantes Charter' out there for any dimwitted, simple-minded, ignorant moron to "have a go" at anyone they saw fit wouldn't you...? Most of these "upstanding moral citizens" out there are chav scum who themselves have criminal records longer than John Holmes' pen*s..... -_- She made one silly mistake out of fear, why should she be hounded the rest of her life for it...? She's done her time in prison, she paid her dues to society, time to let it go ffs..... Same with Thomson and Venables... It's pretty fukked up that Maxine Carr seems to be inspiring more hate-filled bile than the scumbag who actually committed the bloody murders..... What a disgusting, amoral, fukked up country this is..... <_<
January 28, 200817 yr Why should anyone be put off having children because their lover murders them? They aren't responsible for the murders, it would be a different matter had she been the murderer... Exactly.... I think that having a kid would be the best thing for her actually in a lot of respects... But bear in mind that Mary Bell is also a mum of two, she did something pretty horrendous as a minor, but went on to make something of her life... People can reform, even those who commit the most heinous acts, Mary Bell, Melanie Lynskey and Pauline Parker are the proof of this, as are the likes of Jimmy Boyle and John McVicar....
January 28, 200817 yr God I get really annoyed about where my tax is going. I don't care about her if people want to get her let them get her, she should have the baby taken off her too. I'd shoot her myself if I could get away with it. Well said. Agree with you. Someone on another forum says there's a rumour she's living 150 yards from him and all the mothers want to give her a good beating. So there obviously IS public hatred of her. January 28, 200817 yr Well said. Agree with you. Someone on another forum says there's a rumour she's living 150 yards from him and all the mothers want to give her a good beating. Thats the kinda f***ed up $h!t that is making this country go to the dogs at a fukkin rate of knots, they are probably the same ignorant f***wits that attacked homes of paedeatricians :manson: not a fukkin brain cell between them The one 150 yards away is probably TOTALLY innocent, she can join the elusive club as listed down below Since Carr's release there has been much speculation throughout the UK regarding her whereabouts, often leading to people being wrongly identified as Maxine Carr: In August 2004, Irene Lyttle, an East Kilbride woman, had to be escorted from her home by police and housing officials after death threats were posted on the internet and a mob of vigilantes gathered outside her house.[10] In October 2004, Candice Peberdy and her family from Blaby, Leicestershire were "under siege" for a week from a gang of 25 people who threatened to firebomb their house.[11] In April 2005 Diane Carraro, a South African student on a working holiday in Cheadle, Staffordshire had to go into hiding after being targeted by gangs who threw things at her house, screamed at her in the street, and placed posters of her picture around the town.[12] In March 2006 a woman on the Isle of Wight was mistaken for Carr and subjected to intimidation and abuse, leading local MP Andrew Turner to ask police to end several months of speculation. The police said they could neither confirm nor deny the rumours, due to the Association of Chief Police Officers advising against any statements regarding Carr's location. The local council even put up a sign stating "Please note that Maxine Carr is NOT working at Ryde Library, or any other library on the Isle of Wight."[13] In August 2006 Karen Meek of Coleraine, Northern Ireland, received threats and her husband's van was damaged by people believing her to be Carr. MP Gregory Campbell appealed for her to be left alone.[14] Also in August 2006 Suzette Kapp, a South African woman living in Bonnyrigg, Scotland was incorrectly identified as Carr on local websites with police receiving calls claiming the same.[15] In January 2007 Falmouth police in Cornwall issued a statement denying that Carr was living in the Penryn area after rumours reached "fever pitch", including posters being put up and local police being inundated with calls.[16] All innocent women targeted by thick as pig $h!t inbreds who thought there was a slight physical resemblance to Maxine Carr Pathetic isn't the word :manson:
January 28, 200817 yr Yes but all these incidents show the depth of anger felt towards Maxine Carr and rightly so I say. No I don't agree with the mistaken identity attacks but would give anyone who did get the real Maxine a good pat on the back as I suspect many people would. Doubt me and the earlier poster are in the minority, more like the majority. Earlier posts in this thread saying she was away in Grimsby and only told some lies, well sorry but that's not how most people see it or there wouldn't be the incidents such as above would there? So there obviously IS public hatred of her. ....and thats the very reason we are having to pay for her protection <_<. she was his GIRLFRIEND, not the murderer. those idiots women who want to beat her... what will THAT achieve?... fcukin morons, the lot of them. if you dont like the way THE LAW dealt with her then use your democratic right to pressurise mp's votes, to change the law. that is the civilised intelligent way to go...
