Jan 29 2008 - New single announcement!

We can confirm that Leona’s next single will be a double A-side of ‘Better In Time’ and ‘Footprints In The Sand’. The beautiful new tracks will be released digitally on 9th March and physically just a day later, hitting the shelves on 10th March.

Don’t forget that Leona’s last single ‘Bleeding Love’ has been nominated for ’Best Single’ at the BRIT awards. The winner is voted for by the public and you can register your vote with the click of a button, here.

Let us know your thoughts about the singles and all the other songs featured on Spirit, right here.

Fab choices IMO, not wasting one of the more better tracks as it's for Sports Relief but both are still fantastic. :D

"Footprints" is the Sports Relief song as it kind of fits with that where as BIT will probably be the one radio play.

Oh dear. NOT BETTER IN TIME. :arrr: Yesterday or Angel would have been much better.

Footprints will be great for the cause though.

This will also screw up her singles chart run with them charting individually on download... :arrr:

Plus no Run. :(

i hope they both get a video!!!!

great choices aswell :w00t:

Forgiveness #46

I like "Yesterday" more than "Better In Time" but prefer that to "Angel". I think it's a good choice. :)

Interesting choices, I like both but there's better on the album.

I think Whatever It Takes will be after this, it reminds me of Summer a little. Then HOPEFULLY Take A Bow, I'll be so sad if it doesn't get released at all. :(

Fab choice, one of my favourites :D

Take a Bow and Whatever It Takes must be released though :D

I think and hope TAB will be next.
Amazing choices, Footprints In The Sand is amazing I love it, Better In Time is great too, I really hope Take A Bow get released though
interesting to see how thw single will do considering the mega success of the album the tracks are coming from

I think 'Whatever It Takes' and 'Take A Bow' should have been the next two singles in no particular order and 'Better In Time' fourth. (or fifth if you include AMLT) I don't know, 'Better In Time' just seems quite weaker compared to the other two, I think Footprints didn't deserve release really, but it's one of the songs that people have already heard in the background of X Factor before, so I guess they are quite proud of it already.

I'm hoping they are releasing these now, instead of later because they aren't as good as TAB and WIT and the sales may be boosted a bit because it's for charity and if these were released later they might not do as well as the other two could.

I think that's the exact reason.
