April 10, 200817 yr OMG at her going to be #1 with 190k. :D! The #2 album was on target to sell 50k. So, she's ahead by a large margin :w00t:
April 11, 200817 yr Ouch, Better In Time's fell to #18 on US Itunes! Don't worry though, it's mainly because four Idol Gives Back performances have overtook it! Should go back up in the next few days.

April 11, 200817 yr How is that bad? I didn't expect any of her album tracks to make it anywhere near the top 10 of iTunes. I didn't say it was bad...i meant that it's ocurred a temporary blip. And that's quite a big drop for Leona in Itunes terms!
April 11, 200817 yr ^ Well I don't think it's really an issue personally. If it was a single than maybe. Here are more album news: YOUR TOP-HEAVY WEAKEND CHART REVIEW: The best piece of news as we head into the weekend is that sales on the J/Syco/RMG debut album from Leona Lewis are running above expectations (and how often have you read that in the last few years?). Clive’s latest diva is projecting 195-205k, a total that will tower over the rest of the pack. Here’s how things look right now: #2: George Strait (MCA Nashville), 60-65k; #3: James Otto (WB), 55-60k; #4: Now 27 (SBMG), 45-50k; #5: P.O.D. (Integrity/Columbia) 35-40k; #6: Alvin & the Chipmunks (Razor & Tie), 35-40k; #7: Rick Ross (Def Jam/IDJ), 30-35k; and #8: R.E.M. (WB), 30-35k. As for the final two slots, a half-dozen albums are trending toward the 25-30k neighborhood: Bad Boy/Atlantic’s Danity Kane, Bushfire/Universal Republic’s Jack Johnson, Fueled by Ramen’s Panic at the Disco, Bad Boy/Atlantic’s Day26, Nine Inch Nails and Koch Urban’s Ray J. April 16, 200817 yr Hey guys, I have a question about the North American version of Spirit. Do the songs that appear on both the UK version and the North American version differ in anyway, for example...on the American version did the single edits of Better in time (with the 'tinkly' piano bits and added percussion) and Footprints in the sand (with the acapella intro like in the video) replace the original album versions that the UK got? Also, if they were added (i hope they were....especially for Better in Time as the single edit is much better than the UK album version) are there any other changes between the different versions? Thanks :)
April 16, 200817 yr Author whatever it takes doesnt have the gospel choir part at the end anymore, its just her....i actually prefer the original edit...not sure why they removed it

Thanks :) Unfortunately no, the versions of Better In Time and Footprints are exactly as we got them on the UK album even though the single remix of Better In Time is lightyears better IMO. Every single song is the same as the UK album except Whatever It Takes - instead of the gospel choir at the end, it's like Leona's backing vocals all layered over each other. It's not as good, no idea why they removed the choir.

Why on earth wudn't they change the Better In Time version to the single edit which is clearly better??? - it has a much fuller sound and more of a beat!!! But thank you very much for the info :)
