After years and years of just liking Without You, Hero and the Emancipation singles, I now find myself liking everything I hear from Mariah :lol: I've downloaded 'My All' and 'Through The Rain', both of which are beautiful. Any recommendations as to what else I should try? I like her ballads most but not the ones where she goes too OTT.

LOL me too! I heard "Vision Of Love" recently and love it, same with "Anytime You Need A Friend", "Always Be My Baby" and "Emotions".

so many great tracks to choose from imo "always be my baby" is one of the best songs of 90s, an absolute classic still sounds so good today. if you like your mariah with an urban edge check out the "fantasy" puffy remix with ODB and "the roof" mobb deep remix both superior r'n'b/rap fuison tracks

 

 

 

I'm not sure if I can add anything else to the list of great singles recomended to you already but you should try 'Prisoner', 'I Only Wanted', 'After Tonight' and 'Subtle Inviation', album tracks but amazing nonetheless. Oh and her duet with Brian McKnight, 'Whenever You Call'.

She's got so many good songs. ''Honey,'' ''Stay The Night,'' ''Someday,'' and ''Everything Fades Away'' are some of the essential ones.

It's not a ballad, but one of my personal favorites-Get Your Number.

I was a huge fan of Mariah up until TEOM. I liked the single, hated the album...but I love all of her other albums. I hate this r&b route she's taken...it doesn't fit her IMO.
