I stopped doing it because it was too time-consuming. This is just my top-10 favorite current singles of the moment, based on what I listen to on my mp3 player, or in my car etc. February 14, 2008 Issue #1 LW TW 01 N - DON'T STOP THE MUSIC - Rihanna 02 N - PIECE OF ME - Britney Spears 03 N - FEEDBACK - Janet 04 N - SENSUAL SEDUCTION - Snoop Dogg 05 N - WITH YOU - Chris Brown 06 N - TATTOO - Jordin Sparks 07 N - ABOUT YOU NOW - Sugababes 08 N - TOUCH MY BODY - Mariah Carey 09 N - NO ONE - Alicia Keys 10 N - BLEEDING LOVE - Leona Lewis Commentary: As much as I hate to admit it, I love bubble gum pop which is the reason Rihanna is #1, and Britney Spears is #2. Those songs are so catchy, I always listen to them on repeat. especially this week. I've been listening to Snoop's"Sensual Seduction" a lot this week. If I would've started this chart last week, it wouldn't have even made the top-10. Same goes for Mariah's "Touch My Body", but that's only because it was just released. But yesterday and today, I listened to it a lot, and I love it. It's not uber-creative, and it is generic, but it's pleasant, and fun. I should note that "About You Now" by the Sugababes isn't actually released in Canada, so I've never actually heard it on the radio, and I'm just now starting to listen to it a lot from me downloading it. I've listened to it quite a lot this week. "Bleeding Love" is also newly released in Canada although I've had it on my computer for months because I was curious to hear it when I heard it was such a huge hit in the UK.

The ones in peach, are obviously the opposite. Commentary: I've been listening to Chris Brown's "With You" like crazy this week, and it's definitely my favorite song of the moment. Janet moves up this week, and her album "Discipline" is out next Tuesday, and I"ll be listening to it non-stop. So I wouldn't be surprised if "Feedback" goes to #1 next week. (Speaking of "Feedback", it climbed 25-18 on the Canadian Hot 100 this week. Go Janet!! :yahoo:). Jordin's "Tattoo" has also increased in plays this past week, but I'm starting to get sick of it, so I think this is it's peak. I still love "Sensual Seduction", but I haven't listened to it as much this past week, I still think this one has time though. "Apologize" is new but if If my chart started 5-6 months ago, this would obviously be a re-entry this week. I got sick of it, but I"m starting to like it again, especially since I've been listening to the (underrated) original version a lot this week, and not just the Timbaland Remix. Mariah got me again. I always love her singles, and I've really warmed up to "Touch My Body". I've been listening to it a lot this week, and I know this will be a future #1. There's a remix that someone made of "Touch My Body" with the music to Rihanna's "Umbrella" that's also really good. You can check it out on youtube. Speaking of Rihanna, I don't want to get sick of "Don't Stop the Music" so I'm giving it a break, because if I played it a lot this week, I would most likely already be bored of it. The same goes to "Pieces of Me", which is why both songs fall from the top two slots this week. Sugababes fall to #9. I love the song, but I never hear it on the radio, and I really only hear it based on my own listening. A #7 peak isn't bad for a song that's basically unheard of in Canada though. I'm giving Leona a break as well, because I definitely don't want to get sick of it. I've had it on my mp3 player for months, and it's just now becoming a hit very quickly over here in Canada, so if I don't take a break, I'll most definitely get sick of it. I still love it though. I'm officially tired of Alicia Key's "No One", and that explains it's disappearance on the chart this week. I've played that song out, and then some.

You could always post ypur charts in the 'Personal Charts Archive Forum' if you like, that's where a lot of memebers keep old charts. But if you want to do it like this it's fine. ^_^

Janet's album Discipline came out this week, and I've been listening to it like crazy (in fact, if I didn't have a rule that the chart can only contained singles, it would be 10 Janet songs this week :lol:). But "Feedback" is eligible, and it takes this weeks top spot, knocking Chris Brown's "With You" to #3. Mariah Carey leaps to into the runner-up spot this week, thanks to the video premiere of "Touch My Body". The video is horrendous, but I've seen it a lot this week. Mariah's two-time collaborator, Snoop Dogg, stays at #4 for a third consecutive week with "Sensual Seduction". Alicia Keys may have left the chart last week with "No One", but she's back this week with her second single from As I Am, "Like you'll Never See me Again", a song that I've been listening to for a while now, but never payed that much attention to until this week. (The video is great). One Republic's "Apologize" falls one spot to #6 after being the lone new entry last week. Like Chris Brown's "With You", Jordin Sparks tumbles on the chart with her single "Tattoo" (3-7), but both artists need not worry, as their new duet "No Air", the second single from Jordin's self-titled debut, enters the top-10 at #8. Teenage country star, Taylor Swift, also enters the chart this week with "Teardrops on My guitar", thanks to it's catchy pop radio remix. And rounding out the top-10 is Rihanna's former chart-topper, "Don't Stop the Music".
