I had the best time, last night, as I went to see the TCB Band at the Robin2 in Bilston. The TCB Band was the band that played with Elvis and the musicians last night were James Burton on guitar, Jerry Scheff on bass, Ronnie Tutt on drums and Glen D Hardin on keyboards. Jenson Bloomer provided the vocals for the night.

I was lucky enough to be right at the front and the show was absolutely fantastic! Jenson Bloomer was great on vocals and the band were terrific. I didn’t stop dancing and singing all night (I pitied the people around me ) James and Ronnie left soon after the show, but I was lucky enough to meet Glen and Jerry and get their autographs. They were really nice guys, happy to sign autographs and shake hands! B)

A great ending to a wonderful night!!

Just thought I’d post some of the pics we took :D

Thanks Brian :D They certainly put on a good show and thankfully Jenson doesn't put on the jumpsuit and pretend to be Elvis ;) He's got a great voice, just wish it could have been Elvis :cheer:

Both the UK dates are now announced on their site and I'm going to the one at the Robin2 :yahoo:

The TCB Band (James, Jerry and Glen D) will be performing at The Brook, 466 Portswood Road, Portswood, Southampton on Saturday 12 April 2008. They will be joined on stage by vocalist Jenson Bloomer, guitarist Tony Smith and the band Mondo Carne.

The TCB Band (James, Jerry and Glen D) will be returning to The Robin 2, Wolverhampton for a special Sunday afternoon matinee on Sunday 13 April 2008. They will be joined on stage by vocalist Jenson Bloomer, guitarist Tony Smith and the band Mondo Carne.

Malicious Gossip <_<

It has been brought to the attention of Jerry Scheff that several fan club websites have posted that due to health problems, Jerry Scheff will no longer be part of The TCB Band and will be replaced by Duke Bardwell. The Official TCB Band website confirms that this statement is totally untrue. Jerry has asked Elvis Matters to publish the following statement on his behalf:

“The rumours flying around at this present time are nothing but malicious gossip. I do not have any idea were any of this has originated from. I want everybody to know that there is no truth in any of it and I am not leaving The TCB Band nor being replaced.

Best Wishes, Jerry Scheff.”

So glad to hear the rumours are false. Jerry is a lovely guy and an important memeber of the TCB Band
