Even in HQ it's awful. For such a BIG production, it's an extremely weak song. Madonna's vocals are struggling, Justin takes the lead "We've only got 4 Minutes To Save The World", and why can't anyone see she's already done this type of thing before, god knows why it's all overhyped now..

Done this type of thing before ? When?

Wow can't believe its gone up so fast!

I think its a fantastic record and i'm so pleased its doing well! How can it not??

And I think it's awful. Matter of opinion. :)

Why can't she stick to what she's good at? Pop music. At least songs like Ray Of Light, Beautiful Stranger and Die Another Day are more tolerable then this.

Because she wants to be successful again in the US

So...its possible for her to debut high in the UK at the end of the week then, on the official top 40?!

She will be top 3 but at least top 5 imo.

4 Minutes is now # 2 on iTunes :o

It's only one song. Just wait until you've heard the whole record!

I think 4 Minutes is quite bad actually, it's rare for me to like a Madonna record though; most of them I'm indifferent to, but this is one that I just don't like. It sounds a bit like "Give It To Me" (by Timbaland, Justin and Nelly) to me except more annoying with the 'tick tock's coming from Madonna.

I can't help but think that certain members are slightly threatend by Madonna's successful comeback! I mean certain individuals thought and 'hoped' her hip hop return would leave her 'hung up!' but shes doing so well! US radio are embracing the track, critics around the world have given it their thumbs up and its gonna debut high in the UK later in the week!

People gave her a mouthful when she did Bedtime Stories in '94, complaining and whining that it wasn't her style of music. It ended up triple platinum in the states, received a Grammy nomination, gave her a longest US #1 (Take a Bow) and sold a respectable 7 million worldwide!

Whether shes doing rnb/hip hop/dance/pop the truth is that Madonna can tap into any style of music and succeed and 4 Minutes certainly shows it :)

So i think that certain members should just accept that she's gonna rule this year...!!! :)

i'm starting to get bored with it already! haha

Madonna is closing on Estelle on the iTunes chart. I don't think though she will be higher than # 3-5 in the official chart on Sunday.
Love it, love it, love it :yahoo:

Its doing so gooood! Credit to drownedmadge

Its doing so well already!

I'm just so heartbroken at how Warners have screwed the new single in the UK! :(

Why the hell is the video going out so late? (April 7th!) And what the hell...the CD single's supposedly due out April 21st?

I'm so disgusted? And what up with Madge...wake up gurl, your getting $h!tted on!!

4 Minutes, as a result won't hit #1 in the UK, i have a frightening feeling that #7 will be its ultimate peak. Death to all who screw the M!

I believe that 4 Minutes to save the world2 could become madonna's first top 10 hit in the usa since....erhm "Die Another Day" right??

erm.. not right.

Hung Up was #7.

4 Minutes, as a result won't hit #1 in the UK, i have a frightening feeling that #7 will be its ultimate peak. Death to all who screw the M!

In the midweeks the song moved up to #5. I still think it could be number 1 although I'm not sure it'll deserve to be, because it is one of her weaker songs.

Such brilliant songs from her like The Power Of Good-bye, Rain, I'll Remember or Ray Of Light couldn't be number 1 why should 4 Minutes top the chart?

Apprently Early April!

Video and single set to hit radio/tv 2nd week in March. :)

Wow!! Awesome!! :cheer:
