Nothing major, but I think she makes an interesting point.

 

So, it’s 10 minutes before I am supposed to leave for a very, very important meeting and what do I decide to do? Write my blog!

 

Oh well, they can wait. I’ve been putting this off for way too long, trust me.

 

I’ve been filled with quite a bit of rage this past couple of weeks. It was all sparked off by Amy Winehouse winning 5 BLOODY GRAMMY’S and not one paper emblazoning this astonishing achievement on the front page. I mean seriously?! Come on! Expect a RANT on my next podcast - which I will record tonight (my mics been playing up so it may sound c**p)!

 

Then there was going to the Elle style awards and not staying till the end (listen to tonights podcast). THEN there was me being misquoted (ONCE AGAIN) in the papers about Heather Mills. And also last week booking in a week of work, only to realise at the last minute my girls were having an early half term (the school didn’t tell/remind parents!). Anyway, some good things have been happening, but expect the podcast to be quite rantish.

I too thought Jamelia was going to be slagging her off :P

 

I guess the media are giving Amy a bad image, I suppose they don't want her to have a good one, her pictures are either unlucky snapshots of embarissing poses/faces or her taking drugs/being bruised ect; they haven't showed her achievements or highlights for ages. I hate the media.

Well that's the media for you. <_< It's pathetic and ridiculous but it's never going to change.

But unfortunately, the majority of the idiotic general public find pics of celebs drunk, drugged etc interesting. They need to get a life. The only time I ever want to read an article about Wino is if it's something positive.

She's posted a podcast talking about Amy, saying how the papers didn't bat an eye lash when Amy won 5 grammy's & it's like they're acting like a British artist wins 5 grammy's every other week, but they'd have soon had her pasted all over the front news if she was photographed having a crack pipe hanging out her mouth. She ends with congratulating Amy on her win and hopes her friend gets better soon.
