My dad's sister has bone cancer, and the chemotherapy is wiping her out physically...

 

My cousin's adopted son, who's of Chinese heritage, on top of being profoundly deaf, and having undergone surgery for cochlear implants, has now been diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a degenerative eye disease that will cause him blindness by age 10 or 11...

My dad's sister lives about 1200 miles away, so, it's hard not being able to see her in person...all I know is from what my uncle told my dad last weekend over the phone... :cry:

 

As for my cousin's son, he lives closeby, so, I can visit with him now and again

 

it's so unfair when this kind of things happen to people.It's so sad :(

I have no words to tell you how I feel when I hear something like that,and I can't make you feel better.It's hard to face it,and you know that better.

don't worry about that.We are all humans and we need to talk about our thoughts and problems.

Sitting here and "hearing" what you say,is the least I can do.It's nothing about depressing,or anything...

sorry I haven't been on that much... I wasn't well. I ran out of my psychiatric meds and suffered all sorts of side effects from it... not good really. Anyway that's why my mood hasn't been all sunshine and light lately. I am still a little :cry: but I am getting there!
