I reckon Fulham are pretty much down now. I should think they'll end up close to staying up, but just fall short. I can't see Boro, Newcastle or Bolton going down, which leaves 1 from Wigan, Sunderland, Birmingham and Reading, and i reckon it'll be Wigan.

I disagree. I think Boro will be OK but I'm not so sure about Newcastle and Bolton, they're still very much in a relegation fight. Newcastle have the worst form in the league (well, ahead of Derby) and this weekend was classic relegation stuff; play well, deserve to win but lose last minute. And Bolton seem to be struggling for goals and their usual tightness at the back has gone these past two games. Meanwhile Sunderland, Birmingham, Wigan and now Reading look like they're improving.

Looking at the next two fixture weeks things could be very interesting.

Liverpool - Newcastle (Liverpool hit a bit of form again, should win)

Reading - Man City (Man City awful at the moment, winnable for Reading, draw definitely possible)

Sunderland - Everton (good home form but Everton unbeaten this year. Wil be difficult)

Wigan - Arsenal (the Arse haven't won in four, Wigan lost just one in four)

Portsmouth - Birmingham (Pompey seem to be slipping away at the moment)

Villa - Boro

----

Arsenal - Boro (this could drag Boro back into the scrap)

Liverpool - Reading (should be a Reading defeat but they did beat Liverpool earlier)

Sunderland - Chelsea (Chelsea should win, really...)

Wigan - Bolton (crucial game for both sides, Wigan's home advantage may pay off)

Brum - Newcastle (Birmingham currently unbeaten in four, Newcastle no win in KK's 7. They cannot afford to lose this game)

Man Utd - Bolton (you'd say easy win for Utd, really...)

I did the old Premiership Predictor last night and it threw this result up for 12th-20th.

12. Middlesbrough 40 (29)

13. Sunderland 39 (27)

14. Newcastle 38 (28)

15. Bolton 35 (25)

16. Reading 35 (25)

17. Birmingham 33 (26)

18. Wigan 33 (27)

19. Fulham 26 (19)

20. Derby 12 (10)

I reckon Birmingham's goal difference, which is half decent considering they've lost 8 more games than they've won, will keep them up
