Posted May 23, 200619 yr DAVID AND VICTORIA BECKHAM Kiki King, Eva Simpson & Caroline Hedley http://images.thesun.co.uk/picture/0,,2006230875,00.jpg Party tent ... marquee at Beckham's home IT'S the showbiz party of the year, hosted by A-list royalty David and Victoria Beckham. Hundreds of celebs - from Robbie Williams to the Osbournes - will be rolling up at Beckingham Palace tomorrow, for their £1million pre-World Cup send-off for the England football squad. But if your invitation hasn't arrived yet, don't worry. Today, we've compiled an exclusive A-to-Z of insider info. And don't miss 3am next week for all the party gossip... A TO Z OF POSH & BECKS' WORLD CUP BASH Kiki King, Eva Simpson & Caroline Hedley A IS FOR AUCTION We're sure all those footballers' wives will be reaching for their fellas' credit cards when they see the auction Victoria has set up... Posh jeweller Aspreys has donated a £ 1million necklace which Victoria helped design. There's also a limited edition Bentley worth £300,000, a pair of Jacobs watches (left) valued at £600,000 and a luxury pad in Dubai's exclusive Palm Jumeirah resort. B IS FOR BECKINGHAM PALACE Real name Rowneybury House, where the bash will take place. It's the couple's £2.5million mansion in Sawbridgeworth, Herts, set in 24 acres, where the massive 25x50m marquee will be erected. Their garden also includes a full-size football pitch, golf course, shrine, pool, replica ruined castle, playground and trampoline... in case guests fancy a wander. C IS FOR CAMERON Free-loading Tory leader David Cameron - who was not invited - has wangled himself a ticket from another guest D IS FOR DRESS Posh has narrowed her choice down to three dresses - one by Roberto Cavalli and two vintage dresses she bought in New York and Paris. And David hasn't decided whether to go for black tie or something funkier. E IS FOR ENGLISH FOOD Chef Gordon Ramsay plans a feast for the night, serving up English roast chicken and a peanut butter par fait. "Footballers like that sort of food," he insists. "There won't be any f***ing French or German food either." F IS FOR FULLLENGTH AND FABULOUS The dress code. Guests will be expected to dress-to-impress...in amazing frocks, designer black tie and enough bling to sink a ship. G IS FOR GUESTS Said to include Tom Cruise, below, and Ewan McGregor, team-mates, including Wayne Rooney with Coleen McLoughlin, right, and the 1966 World Cup winners. David Blaine may perform. Just keep him away from the pool... H IS FOR HOSTS Presenter Graham Norton and Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans have spent hours rehearsing their scripts for the evening. Celeb guests better watch out - they're gonna be the butt of these guys' jokes. I IS FOR INVITES 350 invitations on thick white card with silver letters were created by Sienna Miller's designer stepmum Kelly Hoppen. If yours hasn't arrived yet, you've had it... J IS FOR JAMES BROWN The Godfather of Soul will be banging out Sex Machine before getting up off his knees for a special duet with Robbie Williams. The Robster will also entertain guests with his own set. Then DJ Spoony, a pal of the Beckhams, and DJ Russell, a new kid on the block, will take over and spin a few discs. K IS FOR KEEPSAKE There isn't a goody bag - so last-season, darling - but every guest will get a special gift as they leave. It's a closely guarded secret, but we're thinking something unique that money simply can't buy. L IS FOR LANGUAGE EXPERT Victoria hired a Spanish language expert for some top tips for her speech, which she's going to be introducing in the language of her new home. After dinner she'll stand up and give a special speech to say farewell to her husband and the rest of the English squad. Tissues at the ready, guys! M IS FOR MAGICAL WOODLAND That's the theme for the extravaganza. Victoria's brainchild, we've been told she wants to create an enchanted atmosphere for her guests. Entertainers will be dressed as fairies with twinkling lights in the trees, so guests feel as if they are stepping into a different world. We can just imagine Becks as Robin Hood... N IS FOR NO-SHOWS They were keen to lure a royal or two, but sadly, Charles, Camilla and William and Harry can't make it. Ah well, who needs royalty when you've got P&B? O IS FOR ORANGE AND LEMON TREES Being flown in from Spain to "reflect her love" of the country. They'll be decorated with twinkling fairy lights as part of the Magical Woodland theme. Flying in trees? That's got to be a first. P IS FOR PEREGRINE ARMSTRONG- JONES Posh party planner who organised their 1999 wedding, has also organised this bash. His firm, Bentley Entertainments, also did Elton John's recent wedding to David Furnish and a birthday bash for Elt. Only the best for Becks. Q IS FOR QUEUES OF PAPARAZZI It's going to be the biggest showbiz bash of the year so there's going to be hordes of photographers outside the mansion, all trying to get that one exclusive snap. But knowing VB, security's going to be extra tight. R RULES Guests are under strict instructions not to bring any cameras, mobile phones or recording equipment. The A-listers will have to check all their gadgets in at the door or they'll be refused entry. S IS FOR STILT-WALKER, MAGICIANS AND MIME ARTISTS Being drafted in to keep the Beckham tots Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz entertained until bedtime. Clearly Barney DVDs just don't cut it round here. T IS FOR TV The entire party is being filmed by ITV. Camera crews have been following Victoria around in the build-up to the bash as she has discussions with her party planner and picks out her place mats. On Sunday night they will be allowed access to every area of the party and an exclusive interview with David and Victoria will be broadcast on May 28 on ITV1. We can't wait. U IS FOR UNICEF The Prince's Trust and Unicef, the Beckhams' children's charity. will share the proceeds of the charity auction. Unicef has sent out a personalised message to its ambassador David Beckham thanking him for his support. Bless. V IS FOR VA VA VOOM Special helicopter pads have been built in the grounds to accommodate the dozen or so guests who will be flying in. And, of course, you can expect a tailback of Bentleys, Rolls Royces and Jags queuing to get up the drive. W IS FOR WINE Posh has ordered 250 magnums of Moet Rose studded with Swarovski crystals at £85 a pop. Guests will also drink their way through 100 bottles of Belvedere vodka in specially created martinis. And 50 cases of Terrazas wine from Argentina have been flown in along with 40 cases of New Zealand Cloudy Bay. X IS FOR X-FACTOR JUDGE SHARON OSBOURNE Expected to attend with husband Ozzy. Sharon and Victoria buried the hatchet after the Beckhams scooped the Osbournes over hiring the same butler for Christmas 2004. We spotted Sharon and Posh chat ting like old mates at last year's Pride of Britain awards. Y IS FOR YOKOHAMA The English team will hope to achieve more in Germany than they did in the 2002 World Cup in Japan. Back then, the Beckhams held a lavish Japanese-theme party, right, at Beckingham Palace and we hear Posh reckons this year's bash is going to be even better. Z IS FOR ZERO The number of unhappy guests.
May 23, 200619 yr Author SEAN HAMILTON Deputy Bizarre Editor The Sun DAVID Beckham will be the star of the World Cup VINYL — when he deejays at his star-studded party. The England skipper and wife Victoria are throwing the pre-tournament bash in a huge marquee at their Beckingham Palace home tomorrow. The huge event — which should be the most glamorous showbiz event of the year — is dubbed the Full Length And Fabulous Ball. David Blaine will entertain the guests before a sumptuous dinner, created by Gordon Ramsay, followed by a charity auction in which the telly chef will be a PRIZE. The winning bidder will have Gordon cook for them and ten guests at their home. Superstars Robbie Williams and James Brown will sing before DJ Becks kicks off dancing by putting his favourite hip-hop records on the decks with his pal, Radio 1 DJ Spoony. Most of the England squad will be there after flying back today from their World Cup training camp in Portugal for a rest week in Britain before heading to Germany. England’s youngest star Theo Walcott, 17, and girlfriend Melanie Slade, 17, will be there along with injured Wayne Rooney, 20, and his other half Coleen McLoughlin, 20. Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard and Michael Owen are also heading down. And David’s Madrid team-mates Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and Roberto Carlos will attend along with Barcelona and Brazil star Ronaldhino. Actress Sienna Miller is expected to attend with movie star Jude Law to show they are a couple again. Also Sarah Ferguson and Princess Beatrice will be there to provide some royal presence. But England boss Sven Goran Eriksson and his other half Nancy Dell’Olio can not make it. Elton John also had to pull out but, to make amends, will promise to make an outrageous donation to the charities, UNICEF and Victoria and David Beckham Childrens Charity. The fund-raising party, in Hertfordshire, is to be screened on ITV1 on May 28.
May 23, 200619 yr Author AIR WE GO! EXCLUSIVE Beckhams' Cup bash gets flypast by RAF Posh to dazzle in £1m diamonds FA urge stars to go to party By Alice Walker POSH and Becks' glitzy World Cup bash will really take off tonight - thanks to a fantastic RAF flypast. Three historic aircraft will roar over Beckingham Palace to open the golden couple's £500,000 extravaganza. A wartime Lancaster bomber and Spitfire and Hurricane fighters will make a speciadi-ver-on their way back to base from an airshow The RAF will pay for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's appearance and a spokesman said: "It was thought a fitting way for the RAF to show its support for the England soccer squad." It proves the sky's the limit at the party - where 500 sports, showbiz and family guests will be dazzled by Victoria, 32, wearing £1MILLION worth of diamonds. Posh and England captain David, 31, are particularly looking forward to welcoming striker Wayne Rooney and his fianc?e Coleen McLoughlin, who it was previously feared would not be able to make it. The veteran planes will tie in with private aerobatic team The Blades, hired to entertain guests. Special permission was needed for the display as the Beckhams' Hertfordshire mansion sits under the flightpath for nearby Stansted airport. The Battle of Britain Flight, based at Coningsby, Lincs, will appear at Duxford, Cambs, before the flypast. Flight commander Squadron Leader Al Pinner said: "I hope it will inspire the team." Victoria will sport a fabulous diamond necklace, bracelet and matching earrings at the Full Length And Fabulous party being held as a send-off for England's players before next month's World Cup in Germany. The gems were lent by royal jewellers Asprey after Posh asked them to make a special piece to be sold in the charity auction at the party. She will show off the diamonds in a floor-length dress designed by pal Roberto Cavalli. The FA successfully urged more England players to accept invitations to the glittering event after The People last week revealed that only about half the squad planned to be there. Rooney and Coleen, both 20, will be joined by soccer aces Michael Owen, Gary Neville, Wayne Bridge, Joe Cole, Jamie Carragher and Ashley Cole with his fianc?e Cheryl Tweedy. Security will be tight as Sarah Ferguson, daughter Princess Bea, Jeremy Clarkson, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and other celebs gather for drinks in a huge marquee followed by a meal from TV chef Gordon Ramsay. Robbie Williams will entertain - and hip-hop fan Becks will probably do a stint as DJ. BECKHAM aides were frantically negotiating with council chiefs yesterday after inspectors found the security fence for the party was higher than the regulation two metres and ought to be pulled down
May 23, 200619 yr Author Harleys and golf buggies at Beckingham Palace Times Online P. DIDDY, David Cameron and the “King of the Booze Cruise†were among 500 guests making small talk over the canapés at the Beckhams’ lavish World Cup send-off last night. Sadly, we may never know what the flamboyant hip-hop mogul behind Bad Boy Entertainment made of the leader of Her Majesty’s Opposition, let alone Dave West. The intense security around Beckingham Palace in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, meant that Mr West, a former barrow boy who made millions selling cheap cigarettes and alcohol from his EastEnders warehouse in Calais, was the only uninvited guest likely to be let in to the glitziest party of the year. He paid £103,000 for a pair of tickets in an auction on eBay on behalf of the NSPCC. Mr Cameron was there as a newspaper editor’s guest. Tony Blair was unable to attend. More than 50 autograph hunters huddled in the rain outside the gates hoping for a glimpse of the stars. Everybody else will have to wait until an ITV documentary this month. A steady stream of vans and lorries arrived throughout the afternoon. One was carrying golf buggies and another Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The Beckhams were said to have spent £500,000 on the “Full Length and Fabulous Party†as a send-off for the England team before the World Cup in Germany, which begins on June 9. A source close to the Beckhams said that the event would be much bigger than one that the couple held before the last World Cup. “It’s been three to four months in the planning, the entertainment’s on another level and hopefully it will raise much more for charity.†The guest list was believed to include the Duchess of York and her daughter Princess Beatrice as well as most of the England squad and Beck- ham’s Real Madrid colleagues Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos. Gordon Ramsay was running the kitchen. A flypast by three RAF Second World War aircraft was cancelled after concerns over its compatibility with the Football Association’s campaign against wartime jingoism. A private aerobatics display team, The Blades, performed with more modern, American aircraft. The comic Graham Norton was compering a charity auction with lots including a £1 million necklace and dinner with the Beckhams. Robbie Williams was expected to sing a duet with James Brown, before Beckham played a DJ set.
May 23, 200619 yr Author May 2006 'ERE WE GLOW! Posh and Becks look dazzling for pre-World Cup star-studded party By Amber Morales Fashion Editor THE dress code may have been "full - length and fabulous" but there was no way Victoria Beckham was going to cover up those fabulous pins on her big night. Dressed in a floor-length lime green Roberto Cavalli gown, that was sexily slashed to the thigh, Victoria, 32, looked amazing for her big pre-World Cup party. The one-shoulder dress by her favourite designer was specially cut across the body to show off her petite frame. David Beckham, 31, added his own twist in a trendy black dinner jacket with a velvet and satin collar and his diamond studs. Among the first to arrive at their Hertfordshire mansion were Wayne Rooney and fianc?e Coleen McLoughlin. Coleen looked the height of sophistication with her hair swept up and a stunning diamond necklace on loan from jewellers Boodles worth £125,000. Robbie Williams and James Brown sang for the party. Other big names guests included Tom Cruise, Liz Hurley, Sir Elton John, the Osbournes, Ray Winstone, Ewan McGregor, Kate Moss, Elle McPherson, Christian Slater, Kelly Hoppen, Patsy Kensit and designer Valentino. Also there were Lulu, the Duchess of York with daughter Bea, Corrie star Bradley Walsh with wife Donna, cricketer Freddie Flintoff and wife Rachael. Chef Gordon Ramsey served a special menu for the celebrities. But the wine came from Tesco. A source said: "It's that horrible Liebfraumilch which is apparently Victoria's favourite." The money raised from the £2,000-a-head tickets will go to Unicef, the Prince's Trust and the Beckhams' Children's Charity. http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2006/05/22/osbournes_wideweb__470x299,0.jpg British rock singer Ozzy Osbourne with daughter Kelly and wife Sharon arrive for a pre-World Cup party at the Herfordshire home of David and Victoria Beckham. May 23, 200619 yr Author from Chris Coco website www.chriscoco.com http://www.chriscoco.com/graphics/photos/diary/060522rain.jpg Beckingham Palace So we're playing at Beckingham Palace for a footie do, straight after the raffle, just before James Brown. It's rather like the annual bash for the Federation of Master Glaziers, or a very flash wedding. Posh tables, candles, black tie, ballgowns, footballers wives' (literally) style in a big industrial marquee outside the house (which on first impression speeding up the drive past massed ranks of black clad security clutching giant umbrellas, looks like Barratt gone bad - new but not modern). After a brief wrong delivery to the barren police and security tent, we are in the dressing room. All cream and beige, shadows and mirrors. Waiting and waiting and drinking pink Moet from giant bottles. The food is by gordon Ramsay - seared tuna (v good); chicked and potato Dauphinoise (average), peanut butter ice cream (plain weird). The raffle raises over a million from a bunch of multimillionaires. Like all raffles it goes on too long. There is much joking and swearing. It's hosted by P Diddy and Graham Norton. I'm guessing this as we're still behind a big black curtain. Ready for the big reveal. Eventually we go on about one. The set is short but fun. Can't see many celebs from the stage. There's Wayne Rooney looking like a school boy in his black tie and black suit. And the inevitable bevvy of dolled up babes at the front, all wavy blond and tank tan orange, jumping and cheering, enjoying the treat. Then it's Angels and over. Out, into the car and home. Job done http://www.chriscoco.com/graphics/photos/diary/060522set.jpg
May 23, 200619 yr Author I though he did a duet with James Brown  And i hope it shows Rob when it is screened on TV

The wonderkid turned disco king as he bopped into the early hours. One guest revealed: “Wayne was really cutting it up on the dance floor. “It must bode well for him taking part in the World Cup. There was absolutely no sign of crutches.†Wayne joined a galaxy of stars at the pre-World Cup bash, already being dubbed the best showbiz party ever. David with Robbie Williams The Man Utd striker — with fiancee Coleen McLoughlin on his arm — shelled out £150,000 at the event’s auction to spend a day in the exclusive Hamptons, New York, with rapper Sean “Diddy†Combs, who was also there. England team-mate Ashley Cole forked out £150,000 for skipper David Beckham’s Jacob watch. And Rio Ferdinand splurged £50,000 for a Harley-Davidson motorbike. Becks, 31, and wife Victoria, 32, greeted the 350 guests at their Beckingham Palace mansion in Hertfordshire in an event set to raise £2million for charity. Most of the England football team were there along with a VIP list that included Joan Collins, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Christian Slater, Jodie Kidd, England cricket hero Freddie Flintoff, Lulu, Tory leader David Cameron, Sarah Ferguson and Jade Jagger. Actor Ray Winstone and Sun columnist Jeremy Clarkson were also among revellers who paid £2,000 each to attend. Button “And I am sure with my team we can definitely do it with the support of the whole nation behind us.†American illusionist David Blaine entertained during dinner, prepared by superchef Gordon Ramsay. Afterwards Robbie Williams took to the stage for a dynamic performance. He was followed by soul legend James Brown — who was joined by Sean Combs and Will Young. The guest added: “Others on the dance floor included Sarah Ferguson and her daughter Beatrice. “Victoria was also really shaking her stuff. Victoria and David went to bed at 4.30am.†The party — called the Full Length And Fabulous Ball — will be screened on ITV1 on Sunday from 9pm to 10.30pm. Sun Deputy Fashion Editor Toni Jones writes: Victoria made sure she was the talk of the ball in her traffic-stopping bespoke Cavalli dress. May 23, 200619 yr There was no RW/JB duet then? Will Young duetted with JB like he did at Live 8?
May 26, 200619 yr Really hope they can show at least some of Robbie's performance. If I have to sit through an hour of Victoria Beckham's crazy pout with no Robbie in sight I won't be best pleased. :arrr:
May 29, 200619 yr Saw Robbie chatting with David & Victoria and giving Gordon Ramsey some stick about the menu lol! They didn't show any of Robbie's performance though - just a very brief clip of James Brown and Will Young. I enjoyed the programme actually, but then I could stare at Becks for hours
