My god! How old are you? I was six when I remember watching his funeral on TV. You don't come across as ancient if you don't mind me saying so Rob!

 

51... its no secret! lol, tbh i was using abit of poetic licence, he was alive when i started school, died in 64 ?... think it was... i was 7.

He died in late January 1965! I remember watching his funeral (my dad was asleep on the couch after coming home from the night-shift). I remember crying because I was thinking - I hope I die before my dad dies as I couldn't bear to lose him! Weird - I think I had a dark, pessimistic side even as a six-year old!

i knew it was sometime around there, my youngest sister was born in late nov 64 and we joked she was 'winsey churchill' come back!!!! :lol:

 

im currently adjusting to the fact that my mum wont be around forever :(
