March 3, 200817 yr Nothing can be done IMO. We need a big name with a good song. To get that we need to stop taking Eurovision as a joke and sending rubbish every year. But to do that we'd need a bigger name with a good song....
March 3, 200817 yr I'm a bit confused with the idea that the UK doesnt know how to pick a Eurovision winner. Let us look back and see if there are any trends to winning songs? 2007 - big belting love ballad from Serbia 2006 - inaudible heavy metal from Finland 2005 - eastern traditional/dance mix from Greece 2004 - eastern traditional/rock mix from Ukraine 2003 - mix of eastern traditional, rock, rap and dance from Turkey 2002 - spanish/south american style pop from Latvia 2001 - typical pop song from Estonia 2000 - guitar accompanied middle-of-the-road love song from Denmark a slight ethnic feel in the middle - but it seems Europe can't really make up its mind either as to what kind of song should win. Why do we think that we know better? Edited March 3, 200817 yr by nitramnella
