I know Kelly does, but I wondered if anyone else on here appreciates the greatness that was The Animals of Farthing Wood

It ran from 1992-1995 so I'm sure everyone from my age to Kelly's age should remember it. If not here are some pics to jog your memory ^_^

There weren't many pics :(

I loved Fox, Adder, Whistler and Kestrel

A massive favourite of mine.

I liked the voles - and was distraught when Mrs. Vole was murdered - and the newts. All the newts died in a fire. Distressing television.

Sadly it's not available on DVD.

I ADORED this when I was about 6/7 years old :(

So So fab I collected EVERYTHING

Adder and Weasel were the stars

I forgot Weasel :o "Measly, you weasly twerp!!!"

I collected everything too  Books, comics, videos, stickers... you name it ^_^

The best programme ever!!!!

I loved it when they went to the other forset and there was those blue wolves.

It was really shocking as well, dealt with some proper issues - mainly DEATH. Still loved it!

Anyone remember when Vixen and Lady Blue had that fight and Vixen bit the other fox's ear off? Brilliant TV.

I remember that! I must watch some old videos, I keep saying I'm going to

I loved it! Brilliant programme. I was obsessed with it for a while when I was a kid. That said, it seemed one of the animals died in every single episode. It was a little like Watership Down in a way (although nowhere near as violent as that- still, Animals Of Farthing Wood could be pretty violent for a kids programme).

Fox, Badger, Adder, Owl, Toad and Weasel were the best ones I thought. But it was good how pretty much all of the animals, even the minor ones like the little rodents had distinct personalities. There was always a lot going on.

The hedgehogs? :( That was sad, the husband wouldn't leave his wife on her own so they both perished

That seemed like such a big deal then, but now I realise all they actually had to do was cross the road

And Kestrel ate Mrs Mouse as soon as they got to White Deer Park :(

This is so wierd talking about this with an adult

They're hedgehogs tho

It was such an amazing programme - they dont make kids shows like that anymore. I demand a revival.

What happened to Keastral?

Didnt she go psycho and vanish?
