Do you think Oasis will be able to make another album that will top Defo Maybe & What's the story??

 

I'm hoping this new album will be bigger than those 2 but can they do it??

i dont thik they will top those albums but they will make albums far better than standing on the shoulders of giants
I doubt they will ever top their first two classics, few albums ever will. But their last album was excellent return to form imo, so if they can better that It will be something special. Will be very interesting with Coldpaly, U2 and Oasis all releasing this year. :D

I never thought I'd be looking forward to an Oasis album again but I'm looking forward to this one after their last couple have actually been ok especially compared to the two before them :puke2: DBTT was probably their best album since Definitely Maybe and What's The Story :D

DBTT was probably there most consistent album for some time.... though i thought be here now is great :thumbup:

stand by me , dont go away , do you know whayt i mean , all around the world , the girl with the dirty shirt , be here now etc ...i mean these songs are really good.the production is bad.

You will be suprised to know that alot of long term Oasis fans think very highly of this album.

 

It is no where near as bad as people make out IMO.. it was hyped up too much, thats why it got backlash i mean it was a crazy peroid leading up to that album.. they even showed fans buying the album on the evening news at 10 :lol:

 

it was just mayhem and it would never live up to the hype no way.

 

But yeah i really think be here now is a great record as it's oasis with"we dont give a F*ck " attitude..

 

it's loud, loads of guitars and weird sounds...with massively overblown production.

 

 

now there are some strong rumours close to the band, saying that the album could be out as early as the second week of august.

on russell brand's radio show noel gallagher(forgive me if that's wrong) said that they were currently mixing the next oasis record in L.A so with any luck it should be closer than we expect

well the album has been mixed.

 

Oasis left LA last month...
