July 2, 200817 yr Author Exclusive short interview with shakira :) EL TIEMPO.COM (Colombian News Paper) Shakira SOLD OUT her Show before The Police Interview with Shakira Thanks to the fever in Madrid to see her at Rock in Rio,there are not tickets for her show On Friday at midnight,when shakira goes out to the World Stage,of Rock in Rio, the audience will see one of her last concerts before she starts to record her new album that is expected next year. The Colombian arrieved on early tusday to Madrid, with her boyfriend, Antonio de La Rua, who never abandons her. Before performing in the city of rock, qualified in the outskirts of the Spanish capital, the artist was able to see that her tickets for her show were sold out even before than the tickets for the mythic band The Police, headed by Sting, and that offers their last concert of their reunion on saturaday. Shakira came from Miami, and after her performance on friday, she'll go to London, where she'll meet several producers who she is working with on her new album. Just yesterday after noon, the singer-songwriter received exclusively EL TIEMPO. What are we going to see during the concert? S: it's going to be a show of one hour and 10 minutes. I wanted to change a bit the setlist, the order of the songs and the outfit, that is the biggest nightmare of my life. Why? S: I wish could sing without clothes. Of course I wouldn't dare, because I am very shy with my body,although you don't believe me. It would be something really easy; because there is nothing more tiring than costume changes. Picking the outfit for the stage is something very different than to choose something to go out to the movies. It has to work in the show, with certain conditions.It was part of what I had to do before I came, change a bit my look. How is it going to be? S: More or less the same (Laughs) What did you feel when you knew that your tickets were sold out before than the The Police? S: At that moment I said that I had to change my outfits. Besides Spain was one of the places in where the tour was more extense, they saw me several times.I had to bring something new. And Sharing the stage with Amy Winehouse and Jamiroquai? S: The mark of Rock in Rio is very important and these artists have achieved very important things, that makes me feel honored to be sharing the stage with them. I will always surrender to the talent and beauty of what the human being can create. From Amy, I love her voice, and from Jamiroquai, his songs. can't wait :heart:
