Oh dear god! :heehee: It was widely known what would happen and it was apparently earlier in the episode that she'd be burying him alive - they could've switched off! Some people love to complain! -_-

exactly anyone who follows eastenders knew what was happening so it shows they are just bored and complain to fulfull there sad lives

i read the people newspaper today and got a huge shock they were full of praise for fridays eastneders basically saying it was excellent and that tanya deserves to win best actress at the soap awards it also said when eastenders gets something right they hit it spot on and that they did friday night

the people always slates eastenders so it was great seeing them praise it for a chnage

It's stupid why people complain. It was highly published what was going to happen.

Jesus, DON'T f***ING WATCH IT THEN. :manson:

well in the words of the FCC on Family Guy

167 people complained and we all know that 1 person equals 1 billion people so 167 billion complained

But seriously 167 out of nearly 10 odd million. Where does the majority lie there ^_^

I assume so, Jake's dead.

I don't think he is is he? I thought his brother Danny was the one that was killed off? I can't remember a Jake death only him and Chrissie storyline. :P I'm probably wrong though.

10million watched on friday 170 odd complained i doubt the bbc care tbh

people have complianed about past eastenders storylines eg mad may,and the vic getting trashed

its done know harm in fact its helped the show the ratings has gone up and people are talking about eastenders again

That episode was utterly terrific. The acting from Tanya and Max was nothing short of outstanding and they both deserve best actor and best acctress the National TV Awards. When I first heard that Tanya went back to get Max out, I was really annoyed as I felt it would make it all so pointless, but after seeing the episode, it was definatly the correct move to make as it would've been unrealistic for Tanya to leave him to die as she just is'nt that type of charachter. I wonder how long it will be before Max comes back though
That was a good episode, I was actually glued to the box watching, until the phone rang mid through it, which I totally ignored  no one was going to interrupt us watching it  that was well annoying.

Haha! :heehee: Yeah my mobile sounded off cos I got a text but I ignored it until the end of the episode. -_- :P

Brilliant episode. Although I'm a little gutted that when Max tried to strangle Tan she didn't just twat him and finish him off. :(

the actor who plays max has 7 weeks of from eastenders so he will be back in about 2 months,

last night episode was brilliant and yes they handled it brilliantly by tanya going back to save him the acting and the scripts were fantastic and i have afeeling max and tanya will do very well for eastenders at the upcoming soap awards likewise id love them to get best actor and actress at the national tv awards in november also

Yea that was a brilliant episode, best in ages.

oh lord..... how desperate are they?

ridiculous storyline awfully executed.

how long was he in that coffin without any air?.... as if...

He was only a few hours in the coffin, so it is not unrealistic that he was still alive. The whole thing sounds ridiculous, but it was done so well, especially last nights episode. The acting was faultleess, and it got over 11.5m viewers, beating all other soaps by miles, so I doub the BBC care about those so very sad few hundred who had the time to complain to ofcome

11.5 is brilliant ratings is that the highest soap audience since new year wEek??EastEnders is on top form all this year and its showing no signs of slowing down with bianaca ricky and janine all back soon also

I really enjoyed Friday's and Monday's EastEnders and agree that Max and Tanya were both really good, but have I missed something, why did he phone home? The girls were supposed to be out all night with Bradley.. would he not have been better to have dialled 999 for help? Or Jack??

And Tanya needed a spade to dig him in, but dug him out with her bare hands

I think I'm thinking about it too much
