Lucy is

apparently missing for three months - or so somebody on here (Gary I think) said a little while back.

Jim is returning to the show soon according to a news article on EE's website, because actor John Bardon is well on the road to recovery.

^_^

Looking at the Inside Soap spoilers, there was a picture of a Lucy/Ian/Steven fight at a Trainstation, and these are to air in late May, so it look's like she'll be missing for just under 2 months- And I think these pictures also corresponde with Steven's exit...

I thought

Steven's exit was supposed to be about some bizarre love triangle with Stacey and Christian

?

lol.... if you overlook the GLAREING flaws, it was a great show!

sorry, it was nonsense... 11 million viewers?... is that all?... 20 years ago it was getting 16-18 million.

Back in those day's there wasn't as many channels and stuff

These day's yo catch up on your fav programes when you want on i player,tv on demand, reapts on sky channels

11million is brilliant for a programe these day's with so many other tv channels around the internext,dvd/vcr recorders and such people are watching their fav programes when they want.

You will hardly see a programe top 10m much these day's

corrie/eastenders are the only soaps that can do it

musy u obvisouly aint a eastenders fan as audiences have gone down in general on tv and in today ratings 11 million is brilliant

Its commen sense really with like over a 100 tv channels and more and more people now have sky/cable and even freeview

so most people catch up on reapts at 10pm bbc3

or on iplayer(or what they recorded on sky+/virgin+ dvd/vcrs ect)

mind you theres no talking to some people.

At the end of the day it might have been a little Ott but what soap isn't

It was entertaining the writing and acting was brilliant

if you don't like eastenders don't watch it know one forces you to

I 100% agree with you Its me

Thats twice now lol

..... but its not a direct comparisson as the population is much higher now plus theres many more tv's in the home with most kids having their own. back in the 80's they HAD to watch what mum n dad said, now you have the choice.

the problem with EE is that they are stooping to stupid storylines to make up for lack of good character actors. a good character actor would be watchable if he/she was reading out a nursery rhyme. EE used to have these strong characters, but now they have parodies of what they were.

Yeah, that's right I think.

I can't imagine how Steven's exit will tie-in with Lucy's return

but I'm sure EE will make it good. ^_^

Well I know Steven and Christian share a kiss soon- But I'm not sure it goes any further then that. The week beginning 14th April, is when Steven and Stacey sleep together for the first time..

Ahh! You know your stuff. :heehee: The

kiss should be hot

and the

sex with Stacey needs to be graphic.

The kiss will be HOT, cannot wait!

I only know my stuff because I go on DigitalSpy and there bad for revealing spoilers! :P

what a load of c**p!

There might be more tv's in the home but there are more channels in all

people tend to surf the net,go out to the pub, cinema ect and catch up with their fav tv show when they want

via iplayer,sky/virgin+,sky channels,dvd/vcr recording's

back in the 80's you couldn't do that

No matter what programe it is soap, reality, sports, music very few programes break the 10m mark

Last year eastenders was the most watched programe no other show for the whole of 2007 beat 14million

this year Dancing on Ice Eastenders and corrie are the only programes so far to break 11m this year.

Corrie-eastenders usually get around 10m(they are the top 2 most watched shows on uk tv).

Coronation Street got 12m for Vera's death.

Actually, Coornation Street got about 12.2 million for Vera's death.

EDIT: I can see Simon has actually posted that.
