Just search iplayer into google and it's the first link that'll come up.

It lets you watch every program that's been shown on BBC channels during the past week, and you can obviously pause and stuff if you need to because it's all online.

finally caught up with eastenders today it was great show all week and i really enjoyed the omnibious tpoday,im looking forward to tomorrows episode where bianca should finally be back in the square

Surprisingly good week. I'm not the biggest fans of Ricky and Bianca so I was a bit off-put at first by the idea of the Frank week. But it didn't end up being all about them.

It was great to see Pam St Clement having something to sink her teeth into, and Peggy's reaction to Pat leaving was quite sweet.

What was good though, was the way they managed to incorporate a lot of humour into what could have been a very depressing week.

"Tip it down the toilet!" was a fantastic moment; it's a shame Charlie Brooks was around for such a short amount of time. And Bianca's story was amusing in a "OMG what a Chav" way.

i loved the flashback idea it was a great touch and a noce tribute also,i was and still am a hige ricky and bianca farm and banca's youngest girl the red haired one is a good actress for her age

the girl playing ricky's girlfriend was in somthing else and im almost sure it was a comedy but i cant remember what it was, anyone remember her??

yeah ricky's girlfriend was in my family. shes doing my head in on eastenders though

I watched it today, forgot it was frank's funeral, i think bianca's storyline is fab

i like ricky's girlfriend a right selfish but funny cow

i love bianca and the storyline is great they have for her and th ekids and they have cast great actors,

the sunday people was full of praise for eastenders today which is rare but they reckon eastenders is at the top of its game again

The whole Bianca thing is sooo boring

I have to agree with the Bianca thing. I do think its hilarious in any soap when the character floors a copper and then says something like 'oh please ... you can't arrest me'. Mind you ... they are thick!

if you don't like eastenders why do you come into this thread?

I don't like corrie or emmerdale but never go into their threads and slag it off

Btw what do you mean by proper acting job?

you need to get a life mate

obviously you have nothing better to do then watch something you hate and slag it off in a thread

what is it with some of you?

dont you understand the concept of discussion?

since when has it been a 'love' thread? BJ is a forum for discussion, to air and compare differing points of view. i was a fan of ee before you were born, ive seen many of the great episodes therefore im more then qualified to have an opinion on this thank you very much.

i find bianca irritating, not only were they re-writing her original entrance but theres very heavy overtones of the 60's classic 'cathy come home'... oh ask yer grandparents! . theres only so much of that screaming bint that you can call 'entertainment'.

they should have created a new interesting character rather then ressurecting that one.

I may actually watch a couple of episodes now that the wonderful Charlie Brooks has made a return. She's one fantastic actress and she reminds me of Diana Rigg looks-wise!

a second rate diana rigg look alike...lol.. rigg had class, brooks has ... character, dont get me wrong, brooks is very good and is one of the best characters in recent years. they should bring her back instead of that screaming ginger bint.

You and I are in danger of getting physically thrown out of the Eastenders thread Mushyman! You do realise that don't you? Once again I'm in agreement on the ginger bint! Why couldn't they have her return as a success story (no I don't mean as some City High-Flyer) but they could have had her return with maybe just one other child in tow! Upon her exit last time ... wasn't she going 'oop north' to study fashion. Why then do the middle-class writers of this bilge have to return to form and have her return as another chav with several brats tugging at her puffa-jacket!

I'm exiting from this thread now ... as I've only watched a few episodes - well they've been on in the background whilst I was playing a board game with my little fella.

boards thrive best when there are differing points of view being aired, i know, ive been on board for 8 years now and the best ones are ones that stimulate thought and discussion. boards where everyone sits around agreeing with eachother are dull, and soon die.

but we are of an age where you (like me) saw the first episode, we saw the best of ee so we know just how far its sunk. if this offends the young then thats just tough!

You don't pick up on any of the positives though.

How cute is the Gus storyline?! So good that he's finally getting a little bit of limelight. :P His 'girlfriend' is fabulous! I hope they make more of her. She's so cute! :kink:

But Jark how many watchers care about Gus? He's been given bugger all to do for the last several years apart from push a broom around and then ... just because he's leaving ... the writers decide to give him (what they think is) a good send-off.

I long for the days of Michelle ... but doubtless if the writers bring her back ... they'll have her come back with about 17 kids from as many different fathers! Thank heavens Susan Tully is a woman of integrity, having gone on to bigger and better things.

EE was brilliant in its early days and even a good few years into it. But if you think it is incredible now ... then you'd have been blown away by it in its glory years.

spot on norma :)

jark... the point is that we have seen great characters, and in our oppinion its all old rope now, its not a patch on what it was. old buggers get quite nostalgic, i used to be a huge ee fan, and part of our 'negativity' is born out of dissappointment.

besides im a grumpy old man and reserve the right to express grumpiness! ... youl bee here in 40 years time!
