Who cares if it was ridiculous? EE is best when it's ridiculous. We love it like that! Who watches soaps for realism?! :heehee:

i agre for me it was just brilliant brilliant brilliant and when eatsenders do big stroylines no one but no one does better impact than them

I really enjoyed Friday's and Monday's EastEnders and agree that Max and Tanya were both really good, but have I missed something, why did he phone home? The girls were supposed to be out all night with Bradley.. would he not have been better to have dialled 999 for help? Or Jack??

 

And Tanya needed a spade to dig him in, but dug him out with her bare hands :blink:

You take it all way to seriously Mushy :lol: It is a soap opera, it is meant to be OTT. If you don't enjoy unrealistic shows why watch any soap, especially EE which you always seem to moan about. :P

 

With regard to the grave thing, the spade was to dig the whole for the coffin, which was'nt deap at all. It was almost at level with the ground so Tanya would'nt ahve needed it to get him out.

 

And 11.5m for a soap is excellent these days. Soaps do not get 18m or more anymore, it just does'nt happen. It will be a very long time before any soap tops EE's 15m Xmas ratings I would imagine. Back when EE got 30m in 1986, things were very different. These days most people know exactly what is going to happen months before it does, which ruins things.

i used to be an eastenders fan... originally, but the plots are silly and im fed up with the miserable soap... (no i dont watch it, but caught a few episodes recently).

 

i prefer emmerdale... its funny... (funnier then shameless... :P )

I've watched last couple of episodes with the tanya/max story line, but i thought it was a bit $h!te after all that she just dug him up again and now hes gone without a fuss (unless I missed something and there was a whole big drama after he was dug up :lol: )

 

I used to perfer it few years ago, I like watching it on uk gold sometimes too if I can catch it before work.

Ive only just been able to watch the Monday night episode. (STUPID WORK!!! :rolleyes: )

And I have to say, I was amazed by the episode. The acting was nothing short of brilliant, Tanya stole the show of course. Excellent, and I hope she wins many awards for her performance!

 

I think the reason I loved the plot and story so much was because of personal reasons which I will not go into LOL. It was obv OTT, but it's a soap, thats what they are all about. It makes TV more interesting to watch. Burying Max alive was really extreme, but I think EE did an amazing job of portraying how people can be pushed to their limits. It was totally out of character for Tanya and it shows how people can snap.

you missed after she dug him up then its like the storyline doesnt mak snse if u heard what they said to each other it would all make sensee

for the first time ever i felt sorry for sean tonight but again i must say brilliant acting from tanya tonight,and also im wondering how the whole lucy missing storyline will pan out

apparently missing for three months - or so somebody on here (Gary I think) said a little while back.

 

 

Jim is returning to the show soon according to a news article on EE's website, because actor John Bardon is well on the road to recovery.

The Tanya/Max plot has just been ruined. Jo Joyner has been doing a great job so far, so it's a huge shame that the writers have had to destroy it all with this ridiculous plot.

I'm sorry but there's no way Tanya would normally EVER have considered burying alive the father of her kids, it requires to completely forget nearly everything you've already seen previously, it's just too out of character.

thats why she was saying she was sick when she was talking to max,she said he had ruined her and destroyed her and that she didnt knkow what has happened to her
