Okayy, with the news that the single shall be getting its first airplay TONIGHT on Zane Lowe's show I thought it'd be best to open up a new thread for the single itself from The Last Shadow Puppers.

 

The single has been added to the Upfront List on Radio 1 as of today as well!

I must say, was not what I was expecting AT ALL. I really don't know what to make of it on a 1st listen. It's very different to the Monkey's stuff but i'm unsure about it - parts of the track I really like, others i'm not so keen on.

 

Shall definitely have to give it a few more listens.

I must say I really like the single now!

 

It wasn't quite what I was expecting but I think to experience the whole song you need to watch the video too. It adds more to the song and certainly adds a sentiment of epicness towards the track. All in all i'm very excited about the album! :D This is avaliable to download from the 7th March too.

I whole heartedly agree on how much the video adds to the song! I wasn't sure when I heard it on the Zipper last night but after watching the video and hearing the song for a second time I'm hooked :o

 

I think it sounds like a Bond theme with a kind of spaghetti western feel to it at the same time :lol:

I think you will! I really didn't like it, but now I love it. It's such a beautiful track.
