Kylie Minogue prayed for her mother's health in St. Basil's

Moscow, June 17, Interfax - Famous Australian singer Kylie Minogue, who gave a concert in Moscow in frames of her world tour, among other sights visited St. Basil's Cathedral at Red Square, Interfax-Religion reports.

The star listened to the guide's story about the church with curiosity and then lit the candle for her mother's health who accompanied her to Moscow. Minogue's visit to St. Basil's took about ten minutes, the Tvoy Den daily has informed on Tuesday.

According to the organizers, Kylie's concert in the Olimpijsky sport complex has become the most expensive show in the history of world show-business as 20 million dollars were spent on it. A giant silvery skull by famous designer Jan Paul Gautier was among its properties.

Before Russia, she played in Finland, here is the article about her leaving Finland.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finnish newspaper Iltasanomat reports that Kylie left Finland yesterday.

According to the article she flew with her private plane and stopped at the airport to give signature to fans.

The reporter writes that he was impressed with how nice Kylie was because she waved to the camera man. The camera man happened to have some problems with his camera and wasn't able to take the picture and to everybody's surprise Kylie noticed this, waited for a second for the guy to get his camera going and waved to him again so that he could take a picture.

The reporter mentioned that this would never have been the case with Celine Dion or Paris Hilton who recently visited Helsinki.

^That's such a small thing but it really says a lot about Kylie. ^_^
^That's such a small thing but it really says a lot about Kylie. ^_^

Exactly. :P

I know it's off topic, but I can tell you why Kylie is never interested in cracking the US market, this article says it all. :P

By the way, when Mariah Carey went to Japan to promote her new album, she was late for 7 hours.

Kylie's tours are far too camp for me i think! The sailor stuff and the manga stuff...hasn't she done that on like every other tour she's been on? And why sing like 50 songs, its no wonder she gets so exhausted bless her! But i have to say she looks beautiful, she's so gorgous!!

Well, she did the sailor stuff on the On A Night Like This tour, but that was back in 2000, so I guess it's ok to revive it. That was more like a beach party theme anyway, where this is more like a sailor's bar - ok, the difference is subtle, admittedly. She didn't do Manga / Japanese / Samurai theme on any of her previous tour, so I think that's a fresh breath.

To turn the discussion slightly back on topic, I'd like to hear whether anybody knows if she's still playing the acoustic version of The One? Must admit I'm not too excited about it, from what I heard on YouTube, but ok, if she's releasing The One as next single, it's probably a good idea to promote it a bit.

i have a feeling Kylies not fully behind 'The One' being released. She isn't exactly pushing the boat out with the live performance of it is she?

How long does the show acually last. I know the Spice Girls was was about 2 hours, but they didn't sing anywhere near as many songs as Kylie. Plus they didn't have an interval.

Thanks Glyn, I will! :D I think the show lasts for about 3 hours with the interval of about 15 minutes included.

i also went last night. she was amazing. shes the queen, shes just so bloody nice. i think one of the main reasons i love her so much is cos she always seems so nice and its crazy. i think the last two songs were added last minute, or if not the last 2 deffo the last one. it startd at around 8.20ish and finished 11.05ish. im going again on tues. cant wait. i get paid on tues so i can spend some moneys. everything about the show was amazing. imo shes the queen of pop, shes the full package, even with how huge she is, shes still so nice. why is she so amazing? im going to try and meet her on tues, gonna try really hard. i had good seast last night, i was block B, i usually get ok seats but last nights seats were good. i love the fact she sings so many songs. the 50 quid is well worth it. kylies shows are always value for money, i can think of afew artists who arnt. bring on tuesday

Well, it was incredible! I'm too tired to post a full review now, but I'll do so tomorrow or after I've been again on Monday. Highlights were Your Disco Needs You and In My Arms, amongst many, many others. It was even better than Homecoming.
