1998 was a relatively poor year, in comparison. I remember there being a lot of disposable pop music around this time and rubbish like BWitched, Sash, Spice Girls, 911, Aqua and....

One of the most horrendous 90s bands of all time!...

SPACE!

So bad and not even acceptable in an ironic way!

nonsense! space were good! :P

f***ing hell, something's wrong when the best song in the top 40 is Remember You're a Womble.

I did like 'The Beat Goes On' at the time but I hate it now and even Pulp were at their dodgiest, suffering from the hangover of losing Russell from the band. Cornershop's record had everything sucked out of it via the overplayed Fatboy Slim 'remix' (speed it up and stick an old sampled break on it - genius!)

Horrible chart - 1998 - 2001 really were the worst years ever for chart music.

Rob,

I know & like:

3 Sash! - La Primavera

5 Robbie Williams - Let Me Entertain You

8 The Spice Girls - Stop

10 LeAnn Rimes - How Do I Live

12 Madonna - Frozen

15 All Seeing I - Beat Goes On

30 Travis - More Than Us EP

33 Robbie Williams - Angels

36 All Saints - Never Ever

37 Pulp - This Is Hardcore

A very poor chart!

As for:

9 Tin Tin Out featuring Shelley Nelson - Here's Where The Story Ends :puke2:

Here is how it should sound:

Sundays - Here's Where The Story Ends (1990)

= Sublime ethereal jangly indie music not watered down lowest common denominator dance music that you can't dance too.
