Mariah stops traffic in central London during whirlwind UK visit

So many fans had gathered to welcome the singing sensation that police installed barriers to stop vehicles from driving up London's busy Oxford Street. "It's really cool that they would do this, and it's great to see so many people show up!" enthused the star.

The previous night there were similar scenes when Mariah dined at Gordon Ramsay's Mayfair restaurant. Although she finally left at 2.30am there were hordes of dedicated fans waiting to greet her - one of whom presented the glamorous 38-year-old with a bouquet of roses.
