April 5, 200817 yr I'm definitely in the minority on this one! I think it's a terrible choice as a single. I think "The One" or even "All I See" would be more obvious choices as a third single. I know these things are a matter of personal preference but I'm honestly baffled that so many people in this thread rate this song so highly. I think it will miss the Top 10.
April 5, 200817 yr I think th eone is also much better but i have to say id be gob smacked of in my arms missed the top 10

April 5, 200817 yr I personally can't see how on earth 'All I See' could be considered a more suitable release... Well, I would see it as a more suitable release. I think it's much more radio-friendly and more likely to be a mainstream hit. And aside from all that, I just think it's just a better song.
April 6, 200817 yr I had another listen and i just dont get it - the chorus is poor and i really dislike the intro. It sounds like the sort of song that if you twiddle the knobs on the keyboard for a while and press a few keys, you got an album track. Much much much prefer Wow - distinctive grabbing intro, catchy chorus and little hooks allover.
April 6, 200817 yr Best thing she has released in a good while. Top ten, at number 7... Edited April 6, 200817 yr by Tyler
April 6, 200817 yr i want it to be her 8th number 1.. but i'm afraid it will not go higher than number 15....
April 6, 200817 yr 'nu-di-ty' is complete and utter crud in my opinion, worst song on the album. you're right.. what was she thinking... her worst B-Side is a zillion times better than this piece of awful crappp....
April 6, 200817 yr i love nu-di-ty! it's a fun little track. I admit it took a while to get into though I hope she performs it on tour, even if it's only as an interlude. :cheer: DO YOUR OWN THING WITH YOUR OWN THING NU-NU-DI-DI-DI-TY :cheer: :yahoo:
April 6, 200817 yr Top three! Doubt it'll miss the top ten, will be very surprised if it did. Obviously would love it to be number one :)
April 6, 200817 yr I'm hoping for a top 5 placing (like WOW did) although this will be the third release of the album.
April 6, 200817 yr Low top ten. Far and away my favourite song on the album - and favourite Kylie song since 'Red Blooded Woman - but it's the third single so I see it charting a few places lower than the other 'X' tracks. Shame.
April 6, 200817 yr Whether you like IMA or not you can't say it all sounds like something heard it a million times before + extremely cheesey (its still a pop song designed to have comercial appeal/ ie something familiar to the many) in the way Wow does, in IMA the beat, the sounds, the spoken parts (that sound ANIMATED ie not sounding like someone on tranqs - oK so 'she' probably was on them in hindsight ;) ) have much more inspiring + originality by comparison - i noticed on the first listens on the last bridge when you expect the chorus to follow, instead the music breaks for another spoken part  Top 5 then. Must admit that In My Arms has a futuristic charm, just as Wow had a PWL sort of simplicity about it, which I equally enjoyed. this of course has Calvin Harris written all over it, in the video she even almost wears the same optical sunglasses that have become his signature look. the spoken parts!!! they actually DO make her sound like Barbarella on valium :) as for Nu-di-ty, daft lyrics aside, i have to say big kudos for being one of the most musically deranged things she has ever committed to record. i wish we had more of this unapologetical kind of fun on X. April 7, 200817 yr Author Who said top40. What a stupid response There's always one or two smart arses who'll pick that because they don't like it or something, which is really petty and stupid. -_-
April 7, 200817 yr There's always one or two smart arses who'll pick that because they don't like it or something, which is really petty and stupid. -_- It pisses me off too. It could be a single that is guaranteed number one, and some dumb ass would put top 75 because they find it awful. :manson: I hated f***ing Soulja Boy, like I'm sure everyone else did, but I still knew it would go atleast top ten.
